I know it's hard to justify the trade but my F80 was a very rough example and it was never fixed properly from auction or really at all. It also had bad paint issues, needed frame work, and tons of coding with cameras and airbags. I still regret the trade & honesty think my f80 is still worth more then this car 😂 the f80 wasnt getting high enough offers to take the cash, I'm losing a ton of money either way so i took the gamble on this and will try to flip this and sell it or keep trading until I'm somehow happy 😂 it's content and a form of a dream car so let's see what happens!
This just popped up on my feed and knew it was wraps when he started offering all these other incentives.. totally feel being too nice and respectful to say no halfway through too. Hopefully it ain't too bad to fix and ends up breaking even.
I appreciate it 🫶 the more I think about it the worse it gets 😂 I'm trying to get some help to get it sorted so it's done right so we'll see how fast I get it figured out!
That's alot of miles to put on! lol. Most I ever did in one go was 21 hours with a tag team driver, spent a couple days there, then drove back pulling a project car on a dolly all the way home. Was ALOT ;)
If you’re in Los Angeles, I’m happy to help, advise, or other. Glad you’re pushing through it. The car is like no other, and you’ll be happy once it’s running right. We do valved exhaust and would be glad to help with that too.
I had a c63 in white for 5 yrs without an issue it was also supercharged by me with WEISTEC and never had an issue I drove all over Europe Mostly in Germany at top speeds
Damn, buying a car without driving it is savagery. I would have put atleast 180 on the dash no cap before buying that car lol. Not a bad car, it just needs a lil love.
I regret it so much 😂 It was in the moment and I really didn't wanna make that drive for nothing. It definitely needs some love so hopefully I can make something of it or flip it 😂
Hey I’m in the exact same boat. Think my e92 is a little better. Got a ton of maintenance planned for mine. Ess does not want to answer any of my questions. Very sad hard to find info on how the supercharger works and how to maintain it. I love mine though it’s a great car
Damn that's unfortunate. I've been trying to do my research but it is hard to find some specific information & replacement parts. Seems like you either have to know a work around or find it yourself
I've always wanted one so we'll see how it goes 😂 I don't plan on keeping it honestly but I have a feeling I'm going to like this one when it's all sorted
you fuked up hard i could tell the paint was shit from my iphone mini screen cant believe you didnt see it in person that alone was a deal breaker who knows how much bondo is on it ut live and learn i guess
idk about you but trading with only 1500$ on top is not worth it when it almost has 100k miles more then your f80, also you think its repainted and has no carbon roof, all of that just because it has a supercharger, 160k miles is near main bearing failure territory which either means your engine blows or you rebuilt your engine for around 10K, if i was you i would not have traded but i guess it's too late. edit: just saw the rest of the vid, it's alright, shit happens, sell it and buy a well cared for car, no need for a SC, na is just fine.
I regret it 😂 I convinced myself it was a good deal and something I really wanted but I guess I'm learning a lesson on this one 😂 I don't think it's the end of the world I believe I can make my money back or trade for something else & cash. My F80 was very rough and the rebuilt title market is dropping crazy fast
My F80 had its issues as well and it's a rebuilt title. It wasn't repaired right at all from auction and the rebuilt title market is dropped extremely fast. I got good offers on it but nothing really worth selling it for cash vs trading for something I can use as project and flip later. I still regret trading my F80 is such a good car 😂
Hate to say I told you not to trade:.. only the milage would be a No-trade for me. And on top of that all this other bs :-) I'm sorry, but this was on you, and not your GF...
What I'm not blaming her 🤣 my F80 had its own problems & the rebuilt title market will continue to drop for them so in the end it was already a lose lose situation. It gives me something to work on and experience
I don't think anyone knows actually how rough my F80 was 😂 outside looking in yes I lost a ton of money but in reality my car had bad paint work as well & frame damage that was never fixed 😂 Both cars were rough and I'll try to make the best of the E92
