Drove the Acura TL 400 miles across the Southeast today. I love this car. It's been too long guys - sorry for the lack of content for the past year. My wife and I have had some things we needed to take care of. Our lives are still pretty busy but I hope to get back to doing car & tech videos.

@@mikemillermph Seems to be doing great, I bought the vehicle in February of this year in fairly good condition but I haven't changed the transmission fluid for fear of having it start to slip. There's still a faint tint of red but I'm not sure whether to just keep it or take the plunge, any suggestions?

Up to you I'd say! If the trans feels good I wouldn't worry about it; just stay on top of the maintenance from here on (which I'm sure you're already doing). I exchanged the trans fluid in my TL shortly after purchase, but it was because of slipping. Exchanging the trans fluid and replacing the o2 sensor seemed to fix the slip completely for me

God I miss this car, I have a 2012 TL SH-AWD but this TL was so much fun

How does the 2012 SH-AWD compare?

The 2012 TL uses same Engine design from 2004- to 2008 TL ( J-Series Engine) the only difference is that it does not have power steering anymore and it has electric controlled steering wheel. The intake manifold are bigger in 2012 TL and bigger throttle body. The SH- AWD system works fantastic in snow on cornering. 6 speed Automatic Transmission works fantastic. Finally Acura added an Extra Gear in transmission for better gas miles and cool running transmission on high loads especially on hills. I love my new TL but I’m still a huge fan of your year TL. Believe me your TL will go 300,000+ miles like nothing. My 2005 TL had 276,000+ miles. I end up getting $4000 I sold it to a Car Body shop Owner he was shocked how well it was kept. He goes the 2004 to 2008 TL never show there age cause of beautiful body design. Love your videos keep uploading
