I moved to California from England in 2002. First lived in Ceres and then Turlock. I loved the place. Best years of my life. The weather, the people, the lifestyle, however, I never had so much police involvement as I did there. I ended up serving 3 days in the PSC down Hatch Rd before the District Attorney had me released. I promptly left Cali, back for London, primarily due to too many encounters with the police. Back in the UK, I've not had any similar cause for concern. So California - great people, great weather, with crappy authorities.
I was just in this city a few days ago visiting my boyfriend. I was in Cali for 10 days. 5 days with my uncle in Long Beach and 5 in Turlock. I promised my bf if he’d finish school I’d move there. I really liked it other than it being super hot lol I’m from Ohio.
