Spent a week in the area recently and I have to say, Red means 3 seconds Red... Oh and apparently everyone needs to come to a complete stop while navigating a 90 degree turn... maybe I can win a street race with my bold driving.. Kidding, loved everything I saw and can't wait to get back!
Why does Kentucky not really have any traffic lights on poles? Even in Louisville I noticed they were all on wires strung up and it looks the same in Lexington.
Hello. I am a nurse and will be working in one of the hospitals in Lexington in July. Is a 24 minute drive to work from our apartment too far? Here where I am from, it is normal to drive an hour from home to workplace but I heard that in the US it is quite far since the traffic is not that heavy compared to where I'm from.
Thats a great question! 24 minute drive to the hospital may be on the outside of Lexington or just outside of it. There is much closer. An hour would be pretty far.
I'm thinking about moving to Lexington next year with a student scholarship. I would like to know if is it possible to live in this city with only 2100 dollars per month? Is it enough for two persons? I've been searching for the life cost and I'm really into doubts about it
