Possible piston slap, if the noise happens as it’s floating on and off load, sounds more top end then bottom end and more likely to be towards the back cylinders, that could be what it is. I had it happen on my 1jz. Jz’s are know to over heat around the back cylinder’s expanding the bores, ad that to any possible over heat situation that can effect the piston and it can cause the piston to slightly shrink increasing the bore to skirt clearance. So the noise your hearing which sounded all to familiar and just brought back bad memories is the piston skirt slapping the bore as it passes TDC.
