Despite what rare thinks of you, you're a wonderful content creator and one that brings a lot of smiles and laughs. I understand it's probably annoying jumping through rare's hoops but please don't get discouraged by it
@@DegmoGrandfather Rare has a legitimate vendetta against theb. The cheaters and racists you see in his videos go unpunished but theb constantly has to make a new account as they use these videos (mainly his streams) to get his new username, and ban him. My guess is there's an actually upset man child who either was sunk by theb or gets so pissy based off his behavior. His first ban was about him joking about cheating, a joke in which they didn't hesitate to ban him for. Meanwhile the same cheaters present in his videos go unpunished
The fact that just saying Theb or Crud gets your message auto deleted and warned in the discord is proof enough that they treat him like a boogyman. Rare hates their own pvp community because they want everyone to hold hands and alliance 24/7. It's grossly unprofessional and vindictive. Sorry for the rant, it's annoying to see this even from someone not affected by it

Im so glad someone else is talking abt the open mic by default thing. I was in the middle of talking to my spouse one time early in my SOT times and I had NO idea my mic was on by default, I embarrassed myself.
I learned that my mic was automatically on a few months ago when someone responded to the call outs i was saying and i don't know how this game hasn't gotten sued by someone
Those guys at the end are the people that should be playing the game. No crying at losing loot, and they're playing along with the jokes. At least for the most part. SOT should be making a game for those players, not the kids who hurl slurs and cry when you are a pirate on a pirate game.
Dude, that default mic setting is so bad, It was so awkward when i had to explain to the random that I was with that my older bro is non-verbal and autistic. "bro, who has the monkey mic?" I'll never forget that.
Bro, hotmics are the main content in this game. I don't want them to change it. Without it, I feel like this game would die very quickly. Also they get away with it because they ask permission for access to your mic when you install the game initially. Same reason they can get away with listening in on your conversations.
I actually caught a cheater because he was hotmiccing. He was talking to someone off-game about how the cheats let him see across the map and what ships have loot.
This is another level of pirating, giving them their 3 chest back after sinking them just to steal them back again and sink them with an evil mischievous cackle is truely horrific.
I'm already insane in SOT because stuff like the commendations would drive any gamer to madness, I have ptsd now due to having to light the Blazer with a colored light and reading a journal on Crooked Masts
