Driving the Italian side of Timmelsjoch, Italy

Driving up and down the Italian side of the Timmelsjoch (Passo del Rombo in Italian). The trip starts and ends in Sankt Leonhard in Passeier, where the road splits from the SS44 direction Timmelsjoch.
Unfortunately while I was there, I couldn't continue the ride into Austria because the B186 was closed due to mud slides. So I drove up and down the Italian side of Timmelsjoch, which was already amazing. Quiet road, great condition, and beautiful views! Will definitely try to drive the Austrian side next time I go there.

Wonderful video with beautiful scenery. Glad I don't drive those mountain roads. With my fear of heights I was still petrified being near the edge with no guard rails (even if I was only watching a video). You'd have to have nerves of steel to drive that area.

I've been watching your videos as if they are a TV serie and so far loving them all. Once again, thank your for your time and work on creating these amazing videos. If you allow me, I let as a suggestion (if possible on your GoPro) to add some information on them such as GPS speed (or not) but mainly some point to point elevation, once your videos are about mountain passes. Thanks! I once extracted the GPS from the videos, but it was all over the place so I couldn't use that unfortunately. I'll try to think of another way to get accurate GPS in future videos.

there are often small houses on the road, what are they for ?

farmers bring their animals up the mountains in the summer and those little houses are just there to store some stuff or are used as shelter if it rains or to sleep in there if necessary. some are just abandoned and rot away.
