In my opinion BMW M's sounds way better in person. I have listened to m3/m4 and they sounds really good in person , but in youtube videos they doesn't sound as exotic like in real life

People just love to complain. When the M5 first launched it was described as being to muted and not feeling like a M car. Now that the competition is out, it’s to much of an M car...really lol.

You drove the regular M5 for a while which had the optional sport exhaust(black tips), is there really a sound difference between the 2 cars ? Both cars have the exact exhaust system , only difference the the tuned engine for the M5C. thansk and BTW good video !

Sound wise, does it really sound better than E63 S? The modern day AMG engines really growl, is the same true with BMWs V8? I've driven the E63 S, but not the new M5, so perhaps I need to hear the new M5 in person.

Hmm im a beemer guy but the Benz still looks better inside and out...The M5 has made great strides in the sounds from the exhaust but the AMG still has the edge... The beemer may still get my vote because of the interior space. Overall its a good car but I'd like more expressive styling from an M car.

The whole M vs AMG has to stop. Some people prefer AMG some people prefer M. I like both. Between M5 Comp and E63/S AMG I would of course take M5 Comp. But between M760 and S63 AMG I would pick S63 AMG, also between all new M8 Comp and S63 AMG Coupe I would pick the AMG. AMG has better cars overall, like AMG GT-R, BMW has nothing in this segment, but in M5 segment, honestly, BMW never had any real competition. Same goes with X5, when X5 M will come out I would always choose it over GLE63/s AMG, but than again, BMW has nothing to offer in G63 AMG segment. So overall, Mercedes AMG has the better offer.

The only issue i have with the comp is the stupid gloss black rear bit. Looks terrible. Other than that this is a perfect car. E63s got a bit stomped here saldy enough. Vw has alot of work cut out for them with the new rs6....i really dont know how they will create a faster,better car than this m5 with c8 a6 as platform. Quality review man.

////AMG 4 LIFE It's something about that AMG growl that sets them apart from other cars. You know an AMG from a mile away. Last M car that sound good was the e39 m5 and also the e92 m3.

Really wish this was a V10. And it’s sad that the only V10 was in the ugliest 5 series ever made.

Regular M5 has beaten the AMG S many times and this is proved and with less power configuration! So what about the M5 comp more over what about the M5 V10!!!! To be honest we have to stop this comparison because it is unfair!! I do like the AMG but it’s an awesome brand but with the M5 com it just better awwwway. I do bag the excuse from the AMGs fun people and do not want hurt anybody here! I have just expressed my thought.

I still have my M6 Comp (carbon ceramic brakes) and it’s lived up to my expectations... did have an f10 M5 (manual), an E92 M3 comp (DCT), 335, a Z3 (get the picture)? I guess that I will blame it on my age (mid 30’s)... I don’t think the look or the now decent exhaust note is interesting or impressive. All wheel drive is great, I like the technology that Bmw is keeping up with, the look is boring me (maybe that’s what they are going for). Seeing the rear with the square cheap plastic cut out that can be replaced to any type of model is cheap (glossy black read dual exhaust insert), the stupid creases in the back and the horrid reflectors (red vertical) is pointless. Bmw is going with a more smooth molded crease deal that’s more organic in nature... I don’t think that is interesting. I do like that they are going back to a more modern interpretation of the classic kidney , but some things just aren’t jiving for me. New 8 series... (I consider that a 6 series) and again looks like melty goo.

It’s absurd! My 550 with M Package is as fast as any one who wants to stay out of jail needs! I test drove the M5 and it’s absurdly fast to the point that you will never use the cars potential on any real roads. If you want a track car then you don’t buy an M5!! Buy the 550 with M Sport Pack and take the extra money and buy a track day car with a manual like M3 from a decade ago!

This M5 is definitely the better drivers car and I’m an M fanboy but I’ll take the e63s over this. Looks better, way better interior, way better sound, slightly worse performance.

Idk if this guy driven nor even heard the e63 to say the M5 sounds better.... i love bmws, Audi etc but e63 sounds way better hands down. You might want to get your ears checked if you think different.

E63 s sounds amazing as well. Actually it was its main advantage over the regular m5. This one mada it tie. If you think e63s doesn't sound good A) you listen it in comfort mode.B) You are a BMW fanboy.

Bmw did it again! Mercedes sucks! We had one it was a pos. We have a bmw and Tesla now and love both. Have never had any problems with them.
