driving through Allen and Dallas 1984

Oh boy how much I miss them days

There is no body one the road. Just goes to show how things have changed and people have moved down here in 34 years.

Having lived in Dallas and Denton scince 81, I am very happy about this video.

What I would love to see is the drive in between--on the old Central Expressway.

Moved to Allen in 1969, and saw many changes by 1984. Moved away in 1994 and by 2000, didn't recognize the place. Thanks for sharing!

Loved the video of the old main street drag in Downtown Allen. Rodenbaughs there on the right...the same old buildings are still there, just surrounded by other crap. I think that would have been about the time Moseley's burned down. Ahh the good old days

The 80's was so cool back then I wasn't around back then but it was cool. everything was different when I was alive.

And to think, this was pretty much the edge of development back then...McKinney was still a bit separate, but now Allen is in the middle of all of Collin County's growth
