Hey that gas station in Shamrock, did you know that Disney Imagineers got the inspiration for one of the buildings in Cars Land in California Adventure from that gas station in Shamrock. Sorry Robert I was kind of disappointed because I truly wanted to see the real Rte 66. I rode it in the 1960sI know now it's a lot of it is kind of run-down but I still would like to see what it looks like and what is left. I missed all the fun of riding on Rte66

Im wondering if people can think about this illustration of the cross? If your son die by a shotgun would you put the gun on a picture frame or hanging on a change to remind you that your son die by a shotgun? Well just imagine How Jehovah God think about seeing a cross all over the place and specially on people’s necklace. That would make God very sad.

Except for one thing: God the Father sent Jesus, who willingly laid down His life (let men kill Him) to bear our sin. Jesus: "No man takes my life from me, but I lay it down of myself..." The sin of men killing Jesus no doubt makes God sad, but He let them do it to bring them to Himself. That's the message that people try to share about the cross.

Robert, have you watched the movie Cars (Pixar)? It's an animated movie but worth watching especially for someone like yourself who travels. Things sure have changed since my father took the family from Charleston Wv to see my aunt in LA in a 63 Ford Fairlane station it was mainly route 66 back then what a trip great memories thanks for sharing your travels

Well, except for the parts in western Arizona and across the desert in Calif. (lots of trains to see!), I guess I can cross the rest of Route 66 off the bucket list now...Some of those places on the old road were positively depressing...

Several highlights in this clip ....really enjoyed the Stations of the Cross 💒 . You captured the magnitude of the area in your excellent drone footage. Enjoyed Shamrock 🍀. A bit depressing that Shamrock is one of the last viable towns on Route 66. Definitely worth a look. Love the new song.🎤🎶 So much time spent in the west. Refreshing to get back East 😉 Still hoping that you'll be able to travel to your previous old favorites in the East closer to your home, more in real time. Your productions in those circumstances are phenomenal. 👍

#139 Good morning, Mr. Robert. Their is a KOA on the east side of Tucomcari on route 66. I've stayed there twice. And you can camp at the bottom of Palo Duro Canyon at Canyon City state park. I did that but was awoken by rangers that a flash flood was possible---so I and others packed up and climbed out on a 10 percent grade road.

Love that you came through my hometown. Too bad you weren't able to camp in the canyon it's gorgeous there like a mini grand canyon :) Great stops along the way my father was born and raised in Shamrock where i use to spend my summers growing up with my grandparents so much has changed over the years.

We stayed at the Route 66 motel in Tucumcari back in 2013 on an 18 moto trip to San Francisco in 2013. Was a neat place but absolutely nothing has changed since probably the 60’s.
