Love your choice of car, the Corsa B. You don't need Power steering or ABS for such a small car. My first car was a 67 HB Viva bought in 82 when I was 17. That was out in the colonies of New Zealand 🇳🇿 😊 My first car in the UK 🇬🇧 holidaying was a 95 Ford Fiesta in the same year. You mention your Dad a lot. My dad passed almost 27 tears ago. Some what quite young due to poor lifestyle choices 🤔 like smoking 🚬 and drinking alcohol 🍸 & lack of exercise 🤔 Thanks for sharing your journey, I would be tempted to keep the 42,000 mile example if it were available ❤

My car was a ‘95 Corsa B 1.2 Breeze. 17 years laters, like you, I’ve just bought another. It’s a ‘94 1.2 LS. Great vid and great car - love Corsa B’s

i still have one of these, my single and first car, 2000 edition, 1.2 16v, but not as clean as this one, needs a paint refresh.Glad to see others appreciate this great little car, fun to drive and easy to service because the spare parts are affordable.

My first car was a silver Peugeot 205 1.4 GR. Great little car

I drove a vauxhall simular to this when I did my pre driving course in August 1999 it was a T Reg it was just before you were 17 I was doing the pre driving course called Mega drive at Dufferyn High school in Newport Gwent

Corsa B x14sz was my first car and still last car lol it haunted me ,joke aside ı didnt spend so much on cars maintenance and this is the very low cost vehicle bought accidentally but after ı keep it for 20 years.that little car is durable more than so many cars but ı cant proove it.

I bought one of these for £300 18 months ago as my first car (except it's the 1.4 5-door, same colour though). I remember how much I hated it to begin with mostly due to it being an automatic and remembering my dad's only Vauxhall being horribly unreliable, but 20'000 miles later it's never let me down. Took it round the NC500 from Norwich in July and it ran like a champ.

Very nice example of it that one, the paint colour is the same as the Astra we had back then..... I hated it to the point I took the handbrake off it in a carpark and let it roll onto the main road .... my "father" was not amused in the slightest and rightly so 🤣 Look forward to seeing what you do with the car mate.

This was my first car too!!!. Mine was an m Reg and baby blue, fox multispoke alloys. It had 45 hp when it was new, probably only had 25 when I got it lol
