The probable reason why Kai takes in Angie is because ""officially"" Angie is Federation property and would not be free even after war's end, and Kai's involvement with Forseti would've had her executed for treason. To protect the pair of them, Kai was probably reported as KIA aboard the Centurion (which isn't too far from the truth, given Forseti died there), and both "his" body and Angie went down with the Centurion when it sank. With the top brass unable to reach the shipwreck and prove otherwise, Kai and Angie would be able to take up new lives and identities, and doing so together is convenient since Angie needs someone to look after her.

After such a large warning, no way would the upper command of the Imperial Army still be there plus the Empire still has Valkyria that are trained soldiers. All it would have done was escalate the war. Basically, this war and how ww2 ended were completely different situations and I think a loli nuke would have had different results then Fat Man did.

However, Raz's revival comes with the unique condition that the player must finish the skirmish "Beneath the Frost" on Hard. After that, watch the unlocked Ch. 13 episode "Smells like Dad", to be able to revive Raz.

This series and game were one of the best ones i've ever saw.

I chose Odin to go with Raz. I thought he was cool, even when he turned out to be a wimp. But he came through for squad E. Odin, the God of war will be forever remembered in history.

In fact, if this is fantasy Moscow, then we know from experience that the Empire will willingly destroy THEIR OWN capital to stop invaders. Remember Napolean's march on Moscow? Didn't exactly end well for the invaders. And from another perspective: If you were fighting in France during WW2 on behalf of the Allies and you heard that the Germans nuked Sydney exactly once, and couldn't do it again because they had lost their entire high-tech fleet in the process...would you surrender? Or would you go on a roaring rampage of revenge against the Nazis? Because the Empire's Armies are based IN Federation territory right now, and are winning the fight. So if you hit the Nuke after they offered peace there's no reason for them to NOT eat the remnants of the federation army alive. Even putting aside the fact your killing a Child so you can kill a city full of children for wars they as children were only tangentially related in, this plan has a lot of holes. At least when America used the bombs they had already destroyed the Japanese Army, Navy, and Air arms and had the entire nation in a vice grip...and also had more than exactly 1 bomb.

What I really liked about this game was also some of the more subtle things they snuck into it. Such as the assault tank used by the empire being a t-34. Your allies pretty much using the equivalent of Sherman tanks. And then the Imperial Capital Stage introduces the Prototype heavy tanks which are basically the Joseph Stalin heavy tank line is 2s.

See, the nuke was a demoralizing weapon. It’s purpose wasn’t necessary to kill as many people as possible, but rather convince the enemy that they couldn’t win, that this was the precursor and if they don’t surrender, worse will happen. Japan wasn’t going to surrender, not until they realized what we could do. Blowing up a capital to destroy someone’s power will not do much if the damage done isn’t enough to demoralize the enemy. That, or it’s a Cold War mutual destruction, and no one wins. Honestly, it’s amazing that the nukes actually worked against Japan

Bro blowing up an entire city of civilians isn't good. That kid crying for his mom isn't evil. Raz's sacrifice was for his friends and for peace, not to blow up the entire city. His last words were "got a light?" not "blow up an entire city of civilians, levelling the land and causing it to be barren for generations, not to mention allowing the continuation of the use of children abducted from their homes to blow themselves up against their will" Also, Walz would have died in the nuke explosion. And the war ended anyway, even without the nuke going off. In real life, there was evidence that pointed to Japan being willing to surrender after the threat of Russia joining the war, before they new about nuclear weapons. The dropping of the bombs was likely not necessary and only done as a show of power by the US to scare the Soviets. If Claude had pulled the switch, he would have ended countless lives for no reason, and breaking the ceasefire would be just as bad as the Empire doing so. Also, I agree, Riley is the lowest tier waifu in the game.

Emotions are only a tool in this negotiation, as morale and the support of a populace for a war effort affect the length of a war and the willingness of both soldiers and civilians to see it to completion. Thusly, when a ceasefire is called, emotions pertaining to the continuation of a war must be set aside as the chain of command has required it. Sacrifices of such emotions as pride and anger are necessary to maintain a semblance of self-respect and patriotism. If your country requires that you make greater sacrifices later, then so be it, as it is thusly your duty to your nation.
