Congrats on the wedding. I like droplets for the situational interactions that can come up. For example if your opponent is playing invoked dogmatika and they have eldlich traps and a mechaba with a trap in hand and you have droplets and evenly matched then you can go into battlephase and activate evenly to have it negated by mechaba then you can chain droplets by sending evenly to negate mechaba and since you Sent a trap they can't chain their backrow to the resolution of evenly.
@@88cturner Spells/Traps do not go to the graveyard until after the Entire Chain resolves. Droplets would stay on the field until another card removed it, or the chain is over and Spell/Traps that would normally be sent to grave after activation are sent there

For dogmatika punishment you still send from extra deck even if the target leaves the field. The target requirements are met and sending from extra is the initial effect. The latter effect doesnt need to be met for the initial to resolve

If after droplet is activated, enough selectable monsters get their effects negated before droplet resolves, can droplet be unable to resolve its effects since the 'also their effects are negated' can't resolve?
I have a question, if imperial order is on the field and i activated lightening storm then chained droplet by sending lightening to the graveyard as a cost to negate a monster , would lightening resolve ? just like Access effect under Skill drain ( obviously droplets won’t resolve )

If you forbidden droplets target abc buster and send a monster to negate him, after resolution of droplets if you activate abc buster tributing him to special union pieces does it resolve? Or does droplets follow to the grave?
atk modifier doubt: (please I need a clarification on this scenario) I have black garden on field, a lv3 token and a coral dragon, and 1 card in hand I synchro summon into crocodragon, cl1 garden cl2 croco cl3 coral at cl1 when garden halve croco atk, croco was gaining 1500 boost, so he was 2500atk, then halve into 1250. now what happen if I set my 3 cards in hand? does he goes to 0 atk? what if I draw 3 cards after? does he return to 1250? or goes into 1500? or what happen if I simply draw a card and have 4 in hand now, does he goes from 1250 to 1750? how to calculate his atk in general? when his atk was modified by black garden
once his attack is halved, it will remained at that atk until the additional attack modifier is removed. In the case of Black Garden, the modifier will stay so long as its on the field, so its atk will always be at 1250 for this scenario
Hey Tom can u rule this- I activated miscellaneous from hand and special a lv1 dino Opponent activated world legacy secrets and a mekknights is on the same colum as the dino does the dinos effect gets negated?

@@jcjr2869 World Legacy Secrets has a Continuous Effect to negate any activated monster effect that resolves in the same column as a Mekk Knight you control. Miscellaneousaurus only makes Dinosaurs unaffected by ACTIVATED effects of your cards, not all effects. Continuous and lingering effects, like True King of All Calamities, World Legacy Secret, and Skill Drain, will STILL AFFECT Dinosaurs while Miscellaneousaurus is applying.
If you have shenshen on your side of the field, can you use forbidden droplet to send shenshen and few others from field to the graveyard? Or just shenshen?
Hello Tombox, Can you explain how droplet would half the attack of a card like gren AND negate its effects but the gren wouldn't be at 0..when the conjunction used on droplet is "also". Meaning, the negation and the attack half happen at the same time? I am really not understanding this one. Thanks.
Halfing the attack is equivalent to atk becomes half and negates. Although the effects are considered simultaneously, the execution is still one after another. Since the attack becomes half it freezes the atk at the moment of half, then the effect becomes negates. Since the atk is frozen while droplet is applied it won't go to 0.
It's like when 2 continuous effects clash which one happens first? Utopia double vs sky striker shizuku. Well something is there to determine which is first, in 1 case the turn players effects would apply first in that specific case.
i've been trying to find this answer. if your opponent droll & lock birds you. can you still draw 2 off of triple tactics talent? or can you only forceful sentry from there?

wait trap monsters are now following the OCG rule changes??? does that mean that the other rule changes announced on the OCG a couple of months ago are also applying in the TCG?
MST.TV With the trap monster if my golden land trap cards if my opponent uses ulti conductor or book of eclipse and all my traps go back to the spell and trap zone, are they considered set that turn and cannot be used? Or can you go ahead and activate them?
Cards like subterror final battle specifically say “set” -“Activate 1 of these effects, also, after that, Set this card face-down instead of sending it to the Graveyard.”
If a Trap monster is flipped face-down, it is Set to the Spell/Trap Zone. Since it is Set, it cannot be activated until the next turn, basically like Setting a Trap normally
Hi @MST.TV i've question about ruling. If my opponent uses ash or any handtrap monsters and i response with called by the grave. After that can i use TTT effect cause it says that it could be activated if my opponent has activated a monster effect during my main phase. Called by negate the effect but not the activation of the card. Thanks
Hello Tombox or anyone else that can answer my query!, I have a pleb question for a scenario me and a friend ran into earlier. Let's say I activate Forbidden Droplet pitching 2 cards, a spell and trap card to target 2 of my friends monsters and negate their effects. Can he then chain his set Solemn Judgement because it is a counter trap rather than a regular one to my activated FB? And would this occur on activation or after I would pitch 2 cards for cost? @15:35 what about if the targeted monster increased its atk like aliester increasing mechaba and the opponent doesnt have any extra deck monster that has equal / higher atk than its current atk? it shouldn't send anything
Konami's problem with not announcing the rule changes like the continious trap monsters is rather irresponsible. I presume it's a corporate thing, but it's incredibly silly that they essentially have major rule changes without making any sort of public record of it. Players essentially have to find out about it by rumour and ask the head judge about it on the day. I suppose this is an extension of the issue where we don't even have a ruling database and bizarre regional differences.
@@MSTTV as far as i can research, continuous trap monsters still use both a s/t zone and monster zone unlike non continuous like paleo. seems more like an incorrect ruling of the tournament, which happens, for now unless the official rules get changed.
I dont believe you touched on if something legally responds to droplet, then can you chain another card which would not be able to respond to droplet? For example, cl1 droplet discard 1 monster, cl2 trap card, cl3 monster effect?
Say, opp has Borrelload Savage. You activate a spell card, opp tries to negate it's activation with Savage. Can you send the said spell card with Droplet as a cost? Cause it's technically still not on the field yet right?
Spells/Traps are on the field as soon as they are played, until their activation is negated. Even if Savage has activated its effect to negate your Spell, it is still on the field until Savage resolves and actually negates it

If you send a trap monster to grave to activate forbidden droplet, can my opponent not respond with traps or monsters? Likewise if i have an infernoble knight equipped as a spell, and i send the equipped card to the graveyard, is it considered a spell or monster for droplet?
Do Borreload savage dragon still have its counter even though his effect got negated? Does the equip goes to grave also if Borreload savage effect is negated?
There is still no official remark that those rulings are transferred to the TCG. Even though the Remote Duel was an official event, they are still saying that any rulings made there should be treated as exclusive to that event.
@@ramaroy2408 Activating a Trap monster would be illegal. If you cannot legally Special Summon the Trap as a monster (due to Zefra Path, in this case), you cannot resolve the effect, so you are not allowed to attempt its activation
@mst.tv if I activate lighting storm and my opponent responds to negate with savage , can I chain droplet to send the storm as a card on field to negate the savage and still have storm resolve ?
@@MSTTV To your point made in the vid in a common scenario there would be maybe a herald or Appolousa on board as well where you -1 from hand (preferably a monster) so its an equal amount and your droplet is monster and spell proof as the storm blows up the board. I was toying around with the idea is what is the best spells to combo Droplet with.
if shaddoll construct is flipped And i attack with UCT to attempt to detroy contruct by battle, what will happen with construct effect since it s "at the start of the damage step" and why
@@livingstone1084 droplet send cards to GY as a cost to activated it's effect and while darklaw on the field all cards send to GY are banished instead.
If you forbidden Droplet a Pankratops can Pankratops still activate its effect, tribute itself as cost and use its effect because its not on the field?
