phil got that call right. a strike or ball is determined when it crosses the plate not where it terminates. if you throw sidearm you have to bear that in mind and realize your movement has advantages and disadvantages. you cant build your whole motion around throwing around the strikezone and sneaking pitches in behind and be surprised when an ump calls you out on it. thats the game youve chosen to play.
