This is a run down of what I do to accomplish dropping the trigger pull on my OEM Glock trigger assembly. I am a licensed gunsmith, and suggest having the work done by a professional. Gun safety is no joke! It has taken me years to get this process down, please do not try this at home.

Hey thank you Bro. cause after spending $375.00 just to end up with a 3. 1/2 lb trigger pull . And after only just now seeing your video this morning I wish that I had left that money in the bank where it was and just waited on a informative guy like you to come along . Again thanks Bro.

Are you not changing any springs? I installed a Tactical Pontoon trigger, and due to arthritis in my trigger finger, James had me try different springs. I'm very happy with the trigger, but I'll try this on my next build.

Nope. No changes other than what is done in the video 🤘🏻

Great video. Whats the thiner bit that you use? And that 400 grit one, is that like a sanding bit specific for metal? Thanks.

alienmusician they were both purchased on eBay. The diamond bits are generic, there are on ton of different options. The sanding drum just needs to be 400 grit 🤘🏻

If you take out reset travel, does it transfer it back to pretravel? In other words, if I shorten my reset, does that also lengthen my pretravel?

I don't think so. Check out Johnny Glock's RU-vid channel to get a good understanding of how Glocks work. He shows you just about everything you'd want to know in detail.

I know this is 2 years late but yes, it does. Preventing over travel with an adjustable screw in the trigger shoe or in the trigger housing is a better route because it prevents travel after the break (reset travel) without effecting pre-travel.

This must be what johny glocks is doing with his vex drop in trigger kits and charges $270 for an aftermarket trigger with springs and extra $90 for his trigger shoe *states he resurfaces points of contact to drop pull weight*
