@@FinallyFishing My favorite is the Megabass Hazadong shad nose hooked. It works better for me when the water warms up a little more than right now. During the spawn last year i had great luck on the Roboworm (who doesn't) and the Dream Shot both nose and Texas rigged. Color is key. I have found myself sitting on a bedding bass for 30 minute and swapping colors 5 or 6 times before giving up. I'm hoping to get to the lake on Wednesday at Echo Bay. It's been a while as i have been going to Lake Mojave since the water levels are controlled and a little more consistent. Thanks again for the great video. The drop shot is something that everyone should have in their arsenal, but it can be intimidating to new anglers as it is a finesse technique and it is slow at times. I hope to see you out there one day.

Great vid Vernon. So glad that NDOW’s website is finally back up. Really want to attempt to snag a couple trout before the season ends. I will try this method! Thank you.

End of January and February is typically spawn season for trout , but these stoked trout seem to small for spawning. So be sure to get out there soon, spring is around he corner.

Great explanation of the drop shot Vernon! Taking the time to break it down! One tip, be sure to insert the tag end of the loop through the front of the eye of the hook, to spring load the hook at the strike. It will help with the hook set. Tight lines!

@@FinallyFishing my fishing experience consists of soaking anchovies in Lake Mead when I was much younger and never catching anything, no exaggeration. As an adult I think I’ve gone to Lake Mead, used anchovies, and caught nothing only once or twice. I’ve never even rigged a drop shot so I’m sure there’s at least a thing or two to be learned from checking out your videos.

@@FinallyFishing for trout its either Flys or those trout worms (bubblegum). Bass would be a 4" rubber worm (watermelon black flake or black with red flake). Those colors never seem to disappoint wherever you live.

Sure thing D Jr! The drop shot rig should be killer for bass in spring too. But for now, trout, tight lines!
