When it comes to fried chicken go to Ligaya's Fried Chicken it was there since 1965. Located at Concepcion Uno, Marikina. And also the classic Lola Helen's Panciteria beside the bridge and also do not forget to buy Everlasting at Kalumpang Chef! 🙌 Proud Marikeno.

I remember going to that paresan. Pag pauwi na kami galing Pasig, dun kasi dati nakatira lola ko, dyan kami dinadala ni papa. Solid, at dito din ako unang nakatikim ng pares. Nostalgic place. I want to bring papa back here, this time ako naman manlilibre.

One of the best paresan I've ever been to. Pares isn't overwhelming sweet and their lechon kawali is a banger too. Might as well try their binalot in the menu, chef. Ride safe always
Hay grabe legit talaga malalambing boses ng mga Ilonggo. May 3 ako kilal na Ilonggo ang sarap pakinggan ng mga boses. Hehe.. ang gaan sa pakiramdam manuod ng mga vids ni chef. Lalo yung mga nabisita na kainan. Talagang isa yan sa mga itatry ko. More to come chef! 🙂

Been eating there from time to time since the late 80s pa and that’s where I had my first pares. They’ve changed the name of that pares house maybe a couple of times over the years but the taste remained the same. They’re one of the best😊👌
Hi Chef, I know you saw the train near the Paresan you went to. I believe that was a gift from Negros sugarlandia. Another train of the same origin is in Riverbanks. La lang hehe. Just sharing. Favourite ko diyan since High School. There used to be a basketball court called “Tambay Kay Lim” where InterBarangay bball comps are held. Tuwing umuuwi ako kailangan kumain ako diyan. Sarap!
Chef, i have been recommending this paresan to friends and families. It didn't disappoint. Glad you liked it. Their chili garlic is imba. Their beef mami is also good. I would say, mejo close to legit mami!
