@@F_L_A_Birdhe gave her the phone number the first time he called, right after he got cuffed. They edit out personal info so you won't hear it but you hear her ask him and him give it to her. When she called back the second time, when he was in the car, she would have just had to hit the recent call list.
They're just potheads that were caught speeding that's typical amongst any race,,, in Burbank California they would've arrested both of them impounded the car and try to escalate the situation unfairly,,,Becomes the gun was legal he had nothing to worry about but you need to keep that hidden in the trunk then maybe you can at least get away with the speeding with just a ticket,, The both females were very professional and courteous
Didn't have his pants halfway down his arse, talked to his mother and a little back at his house that he'd be back soon to play with him, was decent to the officer, no running or resisting. I hope he get his stuff settled and keeps trying to be a good guy. 😊💜
@@Mary_Beth_Reimer Odds are actually high, but not guarantied, that it will be reduced to simple possession because the gun was legal and the drugs were just weed.
Weed should be legal! Guns should be legal at 18! You can go to a war at 18! He is obviously not a criminal! Soooo dumb! What are we doing??? This is freedom???? 😢
"Hey Mom I'm getting arrested but I didn't do nothing wrong" I'm guessing spending, changing lanes without a signal, crossing a solid line, no license and ins, and having a stolen gun with 2+ ounces of weed is not doing anything wrong??? LOL
Yes, she’s very pretty and pleasant…BUT…if she doesn’t change her tactics, she’ll meet a really bad dude someday that won’t hesitate to end her life! Like someone else said, she would be better off as a nurse which I think she would be fabulous.
Both parties handled the situation respectfully but If were being honest here this young man could have easily taken the traffic ticket etc and been on his way (If his license and car info checks out clean)…
I done Told y'all in the beginning when this mess first came out y'all was listening to me for a minute on Facebook when I explained to you legalize marijuana you don't have to let the people out of jail who possess marijuana you have to stop arresting people and y'all stopped doing that for a minute or two who told y'all to go back to doing that we all first started illegalized marijuana I said he ain't going to work the government want to legalize and now when you don't lock a lot of black people's up for selling it in possession of it that's not right you heard me say that on Facebook Two bags is not enough to take anybody that jail come on with that silly myths man I'm 53 years old if you think I was a police officer I would let that young man go man come on with that foolishness you waste our taxes on something like that that is very stupid I don't give a damn you got 20 bags you deserve a citation if that gun is healed and it registered that's a different thing if it's not registered then we got another problem there only thing you can get him on his that gun if it's not ready to come on whacking ass woman you stupid just really stupid stupid stupid 👉🏿👽🤡🐽🐷
This officer is a perfect example of a great leader, officer, role model and has many other positive qualities. She deserves recognition for her professionalism.
Dear black people stop repeting sentences like a broken record. Its annoying. Also, that everlasting victim and racial card? Its expired. Floyd was rightfully killed and those officers deserve a medal instead of bars. #someblacklivesdontmatter
@americanhomeownerwithajob6940 The problem is videos like this are not sensationalized. Show the black community what positive interaction can be like ! We were raised to believe that if the cops come, we are in danger no matter how we act. We need to blast stuff like this and show our brothers and sisters that there are many wonderful cops who genuinely are in the profession to help people like us. There is no such thing as ethical journalism when the point of reporting is to get as many people to watch as possible. We need to turn that around and show each other what the world can really be like !
She should have done an outside pat on the driver. She could have also put him in cuffs and detained him for investigative purposes and officer safety.
THIS is how you behave when stopped by the cops. Polite, respectful, and no extra charges added! These two young folks act more mature than a lot of older people I see being stopped or arrested. Great officer as well!
You need to see many other videos on RU-vid when people were acting very respectful and the cop do everything he or she can to escalate the situation. Many cops are on video arresting the person on false charges..
Another thing, majority of people stopped by cops act very polite and respectful. You don't see those videos because those videos are boring for people like you to watch.
These youngsters have had some good home training. Mom said that she has been trying to tell him. She taught him manners. I pray that he learns from this and be successful
@@Charles-o3nhe just went about it illegally. If he was old enough to own a gun he could ride with it if he was properly licensed and marijuana is legal depending on the state! Don't get me wrong I'm not saying what he was doing was right I'm just saying it was done illegally.
The officer was amazing!! She's the gold standard of how I wish all police were. The young man and lady were so kind and respectful. I began to feel so sorry for them. I pray all ends well for him.
This dude is calm asf and that should be the way to go about it, he knows his strap is clean, but just got caught up with the bud. The way he spoke to his momma was respectful and not freaking out & telling his momma not to worry about it and saying love you. We all get caught up in life, but don’t mean this was the end of his life and he took it like a champ! Respect my guy! 🤝🏼
I'm only a couple years older than him and I would be bawling in this situation, just due to the stress ! He did a fantastic job and she was great at helping him stay calm.
So he a criminal cause he smokes weed and has a gun to protect his self ? Clowns he coulda ran gave her a hard time this kid took his consequence like a man he knew he was wrong, starting to think the world fucked up
@@Donhimself-_-he definitely sells it lol he a criminal he was the plug fasho I’m jus so glad I stopped smoking weed life has been so much better I just vape 💨 now since that’s legal
This State Trooper could train nationally on how to respectfully treat others. People are suppose to be treated innocent until proven guilty. I can appreciate her conducting her job in a professional way. Kudos to these two young people for keeping it respectful as well.
Daily Dose of NST & ASP, she set me on too easy, we have to continue to pray for this trooper safety. She is nice but, I don’t like it when no other troopers arrives. # 1 Fan
I knew a timid civilian who trained to be come an officer. She became lawful, confident, strong, lethal and fair. Politeness does not indicate a lack of competence.
@@BlueBeeMCMLXI. I agree with the original poster. This trooper turned her back on the suspect way too many times for my comfort. There are too many incidents of things going south in seconds when the Purp realizes he’s going to jail.
Not only did she turn her back, but just because that's all the weed under that seat, doesn't mean there wasn't anymore weed in the truck hidden. And then she allowed her to drive away with the vehicle. That girl is headed to deliver the rest of the weed, cocaine, Fentanyl pills etc which is the real delivery. I would've called for the dogs. Jit said, I felt that bag bro, I just didn't know that was no Fu@kn weed😂😂" Ok, so you mean to tell me, when you felt down there, and FELT SOMETHING, you didn't bother to look to see what it was. 😂😂 ONLY IF WE BELIEVED IT, Let's be clear" THE WEED WAS FOUND ON TOP OF YOUR GUN", WHICH MEANS YOU PUT IT THERE 😂😂
I feel she should have requested another unit, and not turned her back on the individuals while she searched the car. You can be professional, and stay safe. It only takes one incident to go left, and you lose your life.
You can tell this young man has a good momma. It’s “yes, ma’am.” And he loves his little sister. It seems he’s learning his lesson, and I pray he does well with his life. I hope he gets a plea deal and won’t have to carry that burden of being a felon. And this trooper is a real professional, polite, respectful, and obviously a good person. I’m not fond of Arkansas’s governor, but the ASP rocks!
The one thing my mother told me was if I go to jail she wasn’t getting me out and this was when I was 5/6 yrs old. I felt that when his mother was saying she warned him to straighten up. Hopefully he learns his lesson and never do anything criminal again.
Such a respectful young man, we all make mistakes unfortunately he will have to suffer the consequences and be held accountable in the courts. I know from experience how unfair the justice system can be, unless he retains a great lawyer. I personally pray that he turns his life around and learn from this experiences
🇬🇧 This officer should have called for back up number 1 when he said their is a Gun in the car , second mistake she should have searched him after he was handcuffed , before putting him in the back of the car . He only lifted up his tee shirt from the front , what if he had a gun in his back trousers under his tee shirt .
I don't like how the only backup out there was the girlfriend with the butt lol. Seriously, Trooper McCord did all of that alone and that could have gone very badly. I'm happy Ariel was respectful and complied. That's makes it whole lot better but the next time The Trooper is by herself it can turn out totally different. Word THIS TIME.
It seems to me like this young man was upset with HIMSELF for what happened. No theatrics, no "but I didn' do nuffin, what you arresting me for?", no blaming others for what happened, no outlandish excuses. He took his lumps like a real man and, even though upset, accepted what was happening to him. Nice to see for a change.
Technically he didn't do nuffin... he just got CAUGHT not knowing the law. Having a fire arm not a crime... possession of certain amount of Marijuana, not a crime. Simultaneous possessing is crime and he was unaware.. lesson learned
OMG This cop when she got him out of the car she did not search him right away only when he was in her car and thats not even a proper search. She did not call for backup even though a firearm was found. She did not search the girls handbag but instead ask her what was in it. Trying to play the hero and lucky to be alive. As for the kid trying to be macho but ended up a snowflake calling his mom.
It’s called officer discretion. He turned around and was honest about his gun. She watched him and warned him not to reach. She didn’t overreact, she told him where to stand. He turned around to get cuffed before she found the gun and weed lol. She had to tell him to wait. He didn’t want to cause her any harm. He later told the trooper that he watched videos like this. I believe that he did know that much weed was under the seat. He said that he heard something when he put his gun under there.
Young kid going to start off with a felony. Mom wasn't bothered by the weed or the gun. Kid doesn't get it and is oblivious to his decisions. Yes the cycle continues.
@@Mixedgoddess52it's not a racial comment... It's a comment about single mothers and how they destroy their kids... And single mothers is one of the cultural reasons the black community is stuck in hell. You can add rap culture, easy money, violence culture...
What are you talking about? The trooper told the young lady to let him hit it one more time before she left. Some vapes are allowed in jails but it’s the Sheriff’s choice. Most jails are tobacco free on the inside.
This is a great example of how mutual respect creates the best outcome. I have a feeling this young man will use this lesson to better his approach to life. That's my hope.
Ah yes, the great combo of speeding and swerving through traffic while having two huge bags of drugs in the car along with an illegal firearm. And then calling mommy to get you out of trouble. Classic idiot behavior.
With the way things are today, you must call and someone know your location.. And it wasn't an help me call it was an information one... He has money on him plus money at home that will be used for bail....
Why would he tell his mom he didn’t do nothing when he had a gun and 2 bags of drugs in the car while speeding and swerving? It sounds like he was doing something to me….
I'm pretty sure Marijuana is legal in Arkansas and the gun wasn't stolen so it's legal and the law that says he can't have a gun until he is 21 is unconstitutional and the law isn't enforced on citizens the same just on some citizens. I should know I grew up in Arkansas and killed my first deer when I was 12 sitting on a deer stand by myself with a gun. All citizens should be treated equal
@@markwilliams7845 According to Arkansas law, simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm in your vehicle is a class Y felony. Class Y felonies are the most serious of felonies and are punishable by 10-40 years or life in prison. You should know that if you grew up in Arkansas. In the future do some research before you give advice, especially if the advice you give could very well end up resulting in dire repercussions......
This was beautifully executed on BOTH sides The officer wasnt all amped up & forceful even though she was alone.I really wish alot more police were like her.The young people didn't run or fight or escalate anything.I wish more people getting arrested acted like these two.
These dope toting gun packing guys get me, they play with adult choices but 1st thing they want when they get arrested is " can you call my momma" stop doing adult crimes and momma can't save you
Everyone who has a mom reaches out to her for calmness and reassurance. When I thought I wasn’t going to survive pneumonia, covid and anemia, I called my mom to tell her that I loved her. I couldn’t have visitors at all but I didn’t remember anything after that phone call
Yes she should just doing her job and the more he talk and they are recording him everything he is saying that is all he has to do wait until he goes to court she is right they shouldn't of sold him that gun
I dont understand why people get out and have drugs in there vehicles anyways, they know already what can happen...Leave your drugs at home people and stay sober driving, that's all u gotta do...Its very easy and simple or suffer the consequences....
@@IratePuffin Having either a firearm OR drugs in your car can result in a relatively minor charge, having both at the same time is a very serious charge, a Y felony to be exact, the most serious classification of felony there is in Arkansas.
I like how, many are committing about the Troopers stop. Ya'll need to go to mandate and become Officers, Deputies, or Troopers. Her stop was fine, she had it under control.
She should've searched him before putting him in the car and detained him at least and called for another cruiser! What if he had a gun in the back of his.pants and killed her? Her stop was fine it wasn't!!! 🙄
She's way too complacent and overconfident in her ability, unfortunately that will be her downfall. I hate to say it, but she's yet to meet the right perp. There are hundreds of videos of this proving my point. I've NEVER been an advocate of female cops, my cousin is one and I grab her all the time to show her how she's just not made to combat a man. Even in my small town of 9 officers, a female will call for male backup in the logic of preservation. A female has WAY less of a chance in physical confrontation with a man, nonetheless a second aggressor. Call and wait, it's nothing to be ashamed of, the shame comes in person being unalived unnecessarily. In the middle of nowhere, that can happen in the blink of an eye, I'm so rural, even the male NYS troopers call for backup when they're off the main roads. Because they know, backup is 30-45 minutes away at least. Imagine laying on a backroad bleeding out because of pride and DEI, being unable to reach your radio while a suspect drives away? What a way to go.
@marysmith-xo7rt it's not illegal to own a gun....the problem was...he's not 21 he's 20...and he have weed in the same car.....age 21 is the appropriate age to own a gun........so Quit saying he has a gun like it's Illegal to own one because it's Not!!!!!
Respectful, but potentially dangerous. Two bags of weed On Top of the Gun, Under the seat. What could go wrong with that scenario, Jessica forgot to search the gal, she could be armed and wasn't staying at the front hood as suggested. Not sure why, she just didn't follow safety protocol. She's a good Trooper overall, maybe more oversight?
Right, I’m just convinced that some people are blinded by cataracts or hate. She made the young lady turn away and spread her legs. She ended up patting his pockets also.
This dude is obviously not the brightest bulb in the pack. You're sitting in the back of police car talking about your affiliation with bloods. From a former street dude, he would've talked himself right into another situation had that trooper been well versed on street gangs and the lingo, SMH.
right, she didn't pat him down he pulled up the front of his shirt but he was so jittery, I really thought something was going to happen when she turned her back to him to search the car..
@@heineken66she didn't search him at all. If he gets to the jail and has something on him that he forgot about that's another felony. She's a rookie! 🙄
@@SilverSergeant agreed, sir. I just don’t want her getting hurt. The phone thing as well…my skin crawled a bit-the passenger doesn’t need to actually call someone to have additional goons show up to further complicate matters. No matter how many times the officer says ‘nobody better be showing up here.’ Man.
History Craig going to get messed up i know that his Girlfriend is Going to Ride Uim For Acting Tuff Until The Police Gets up On Him Now The Little Boy Comes up out of Him LLS
While I've personally seen Trooper Jessica McCord make too many mistakes (she's still a rookie and hopefully she'll learn as she goes), one of the reasons she seems to be critiqued a lot is because she's much more recognizable than the vast majority of other troopers. For the same reason it's always easy to spot Trooper Ana Escamilla, she's one of the few female troopers, so she stands out. She also works in Troop A, which means there's more crime and a higher probability that she shows up in a video like this (I think I've seen at least 5 videos of her in the last month). I've definitely spotted mistakes from male troopers (even Trooper Byrd a time or two), but most of the time, I can't remember if I've ever seen them do anything wrong in other videos because I suck at remembering names and there are always like 5 other troopers that look practically identical in appearance.
@@SilverSergeant I only said it was one of the reasons. I also referenced her multitude of mistakes. Trooper Ana Escamilla is also a female rookie and works in Troop A, but doesn't make nearly as many mistakes. She's still just as recognizable.
@@CS-sm1fp This has always been and will continue to be a frivolous argument. I don't have to be doing the same job to make critiques and have conversations with people. I hope Trooper McCord has a long and successful career with ASP, but to get to that point, she needs to improve her interactions with suspects, to keep herself safe.
@@MrNicholas7 Still waiting on an answer. I mean that's like me telling an Astronaut how to fly a shuttle into space when I'm just a simple school teacher. So I ask again, what year were you commissioned and what troop did you serve under?
does anyone in arkansas own their own car? seems like every damn car is borrowed or someone else rented it or it's stolen. and on the rare chance someone actually has a license it's not going to be on them, but they might find it on their phone if they look through it long enough. and the very last person i would be calling if i got busted for a drugs and gun charge would be my "mamma". 🙄
Took his L like a champ, young man has a trying mom and the love he has for her shows, he respected the officer and the officer respected him. Take Ya L learn from this you’ll be out in no time! 💪🏽
So respectful I'm surprised but man the trooper was so negligent with her safety. No pat down of driver but pat down of passenger? Driver was all over the place. But I'm not a cop so just my opinion
Why didn't she call for backup? Gun and drugs in the car. I hate when people are allowed to continue using theit cell phone. Young man had a bit of an attitude 😒. I dont see where the officer should have let him go.
@user-cm1ty5zi6y you contradict yourself..."once a thug.....then pray..." I used to be caught up in the streets. It'll take church and for him to not be on drugs to make the change. First he has to want to
It is nice to see the police pull over a young man who is respectful, hasn't cursed or blamed the cop or anyone else for his actions. His momma raised him right, that's for sure. Great job young man! Even the company he was with was respectful and decent/polite with the officer. These two kids acted way better than most grown folks do when the police pull them over or stop them. I hope the best for this young man and that he makes better choices when he gets out and is strong enough to stay outta that life. God, pleqse be in control ❤.
Recent case law within the 8th circuit has ruled that a woman's purse can't be searched once she takes her purse out of the car upon request from law enforcement to exit the vehicle. If she leaves her purse in the car law enforcement may search it. If law enforcement does search her purse after she has left the car with her purse then anything found within her purse is inadmissible in court. Arkansas is within the 8th circuit. I wish I could remember the name of the case law. I recently watched a court hearing pertaining to this and found it fascinating.
Lesson for the day is when transporting drugs obey the speed limit and other traffic laws. It could be added: avoid heavily tinted windows, be sure your plates are clean, don’t carry a weapon needlessly, check your car to be sure all your lights are working. Follow these simple rules and your travel will probably go without incident. Seems simple enough.
I was just saying this to somebody today! I don't even drink alcohol, but if I EVER intended to do anything in a car that was even semi-shady I would have my driver's license, insurance and registration, nobody would be smoking ANYTHING in the car, seat belts would be on, speed limit would be maintained AND last but not least (learned from other NST videos but does not pretain here) DO NOT do it in a RENTAL! Gotta say these ASP are great. Kid was respectful too, hope this is his last arrest.
this young man is a little bit entitled. You can tell that he is used to doing what he wants when he wants and how he wants. But he does not want any consequences to come his way. You can tell by the things he is saying from sitting in the backseat. I think his core is probably good. But this is truly a huge wake up call for him
I can't stand how nice she was and he kept on testing her patients. I'm a black man by the way. But I hate how she showed more compassion for him then he could show respect for her when he knew he broke the law. I hate how he couldn't just be respectful and make the officer comfortable. He had to act like a childish punk because he got caught. It's embarrassing and upsetting as a black man. Then he'll claim racism and he was treated unfair.. smh
He definitely a lame but I don’t think no black msn have to say he’s block buy his comment you can tell imma nigga buy my responds to you fuck him the officer was nice doing her job he just a sucker driving fast with stiff in the car is his own self if I was the officer I would just treat him like a nigga when he said he had a firearm
My Father would have beaten my A** when I got home after being arrested. Then my Mother would have slapped me up the Head after my Father was finished. That is what needs to happen today with kids. Not this enabling BS that parents allow.
I fast forward several times to see what bad stuff was going to happen and then it didn’t. It a nice surprise. I really wish this would happen more often.
Look I'm from Chicago an that lady is the coolest cop I've seen irregardless of color. She did everything but outright tell this clown DONT INCRIMINATE YOURSELF, she's trying to get him to understand he's being recorded. The gun isn't the issue it's the archaic laws against weed in places like Indiana and Arkansas where WEED + GUN = Big no no. She also let the young lady take the car and leave in Chicago that car is getting towed and she's catching Uber 😭😂 Not to mention allowing him to call mom etc he's 20 years old she handled him with kid gloves imo and that's nice to see, very unbiased…i can genuinely say she treated that young man no differently than she would a kid from her community. ❤️❤️
People always ask "why don't the judges put these people in jail for a long time?" The answer is right here, neither the guy, or his mom seemed really that worried about jail time. It's just a part of life for them, and not really a deterrent, certainly not a learning or remedial experience
These schools are ran by the devil. As are all systems of society..they should be learning a working trade from age 7 and up .working with there hands .construction, plumbing, tree care ,electrical anything a skilled trade .not fake degrees and sports.its more idolatry of Americans. A man is created by God and cursed to work the gardens fields or a skilled trade .period and women are created to become a wife one flesh and take care of children AT HOME.and support the man while GOD IS HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD .then man ..instead Americans have created this..and governments control and want segregation, and outof control so they can remain on agenda s..profiting on mankind.tgese have been subtle tactics of the wicked one. It’s true for many young African Americans, especially men, that jail time a fact of life. That reality makes me sad. If he learns from this he can have a better life. I wish him luck! But no more guns or weed!
I am very pro police but some of the decisions of this trooper have me smh. Not patting down the male initially, allowing the female to hang around behind her while she was searching the car, allowing the phone call during the Miranda warnings, and not calling for backup. That said another young man starting off life with felonies. Sad.
