2.20 A busby is a different kind of headgear , either a flat sided cylindrical fur cap usually with a cloth bag at the top (hussars ,artillery and so on) or a similar shaped but smaller fur cap made of seal or raccoon skin (fusilier) This cap should just be called a bearskin or bearskin cap , not busby.

Very definitely a bearskin and not a busby. A true busby is worn by the Royal Horse Artillery and the Royal Hussars, flat-topped and containing a bag.

The uniform looks more like the Queen's own (royal) rather that the President's own. The British officer, Sir Banastre Tarleton, would approve.
