So which do you think is better cut? If the drum is 5ft6 then it's a 165 like mine they do have bigger 5ft6 a 6ft2 and 7ft3 the 7ft3 has 4 blades per drum still 2 drums Think you said in a mowing vid the disc was 10ft? Can you turn blades for other direction? On my twose 215 it has 4 left and 6 right which you can't turn also have trouble getting them so got lely blades and cut 10mm off length 😬baled 40 round hay on Sunday nice stuff but 15 less than last year in the field 😬let's hope that rain comes running out of grazing ground 😢thanks 👍
I can see me doing a part 2 now😂. Prefer the disc for size and speed but drum if the land is bad. I'm gonna have to measure the dam mower now😂😣. I've not seen big drum mowers before😕. No the discs only go one way so you end up with 2 boxes of knives, not entirely sure why the have done that but most likely as there cranked in there cutting direction to help lift the grass (from what I've been told) rain on Wednesday hopefully!
Hi, there are a few different types of blades for the mowers depending on what brand/ model you have and each manufacturer has a different reason. Usually it's to give strength and sometimes to move the cutting edge lower towards the ground. Hope that helps 😊
