and the Harvisptokhm is the tree born from: Malikata, Deshret and Rukkhadevata's friend, the old Hydro archon who died and her body is bounded to the earth by rukkhadevata
Maiden's of Sanctity is honestly like an incredibly lovely send off from Sumeru for me. Just wrapping up the Desert and into Fontaine. Also telling us the story of the sacrifice of the 3 goddesses for the peace here ... I just loved this last Sumeru quest.
Her Wishes and Maidens of Sanctity are my personal favourites. I do not know what it is about Maidens of Sanctity, but it just hit me like a truck the moment it started playing. I get chills every time I hear it and have spent hours listening to it in game.
Genshin's world quest sometimes such a hassle to start but when you get through, it is usually very beautiful. I finished both Dirge of Bilqis and Vourukasha Oasis few days before 4.0 released because of procrastination, but it felt really good like a parting gift from Sumeru.
The story to the Eternal Oasis was that Jeth leaves a memento of her father and mother that place and spends some time there to reminisce about them. Though if I remember correctly, she never really knew her mother. It's a very sad yet beautiful song. A bit like a bitter sweet ending. Finally her parents found the Eternal Oasis. Yet Jeth lost both her parents. So in a sense it's also get saying good bye to them. And the song, if you listen to all parts or phases of it, reflects that as well. Though I would say in the song it's her parents saying their good bye to her and she is left with an echo of them.
Maiden of Sanctity and its instrumental version Caress of Three Mothers is one of the few songs that have made me emotional and almost bring me to tears just from the music alone. I finally finished the world quest for that whole area last night to get ready for Fontaine and it really felt like a farewell for the whole region. In the middle of learning it on piano currently and I just can’t get over how pretty the notes are
Wind of Tranquility was one of the very few Genshin tracks that actually brought me to tears and made me sob like a baby. No clue why, it just made me overly emotional and had to stop playing to cry for a bit lmao. It's a gorgeous piece. Empire of Sand, however, made me JUMP out of my seat
Remember when in her character demo Candace said “nights in the desert are cruel. Sleep soundly, and know that I’m watching over you”? Wind of Tranquility feels exactly like that. It feels like an almost motherly protection. It feels like safety and peace, in stark contrast to the usual restlessness of the desert. It feels as if you’d been walking in the desert for days with no sense of security and with danger possibly coming at you at any moment, but then you arrive in Aaru village and finally have all the tension lifted off your shoulders, knowing that there’s someone protecting you and that you can rest easy. Absolutely beautiful track 🩵
@@kat7659 Never thought of it like that! But definitely makes sense, it feels extremely homely, like a cozy blanket warming you up in a cold desert night after a long day out. It's probably my favourite track in the whole game because of that
Across Dimming Asterisms will forever be in my heart. My characters were too strong to have a fight that lasted more than a minute, so I haven't had the chance to hear the whole piece - that is, until I and my friend went to Setekh Wenut to clear the achievement about infusing his spheres and this absolute banger accompanied our run. Maaan, it hyped me up so much I was headbanging the whole time instead of focusing on the fight but it was glorious.
Maidens of Sanctity refers to Lord of Amrita, Rukkhadevata and Nabu Malikata - three tragic heroes who gave everything for protecting the land and fighting for a better future
@@stevieveringus3857 yea, and it came from goddess of flowers He wouldn't share it to his people if she didn't shared it with them Al ahmar and goddes of flowers are like a couple right?
@@keitokarl not exactly. Nabu Malikata didn't possess forbidden knowledge. Al Ahmar himself didn't expect that such knowledge would bring catastrophe. Yes they were a couple before the breakup happened
there are a few soundtracks in sumeru that have an aesthetic that felt really fresh compared to the rest of the game, starting with the withering zone battle themes. shadow in ruins was one of those, that really gave me that "futuristic" vibe that makes the identity of khaenri'ah feel foreign as it should
yeah i would assume most of abyss/ khaenriahn motifs are the synthetic sounds since khaenriah is so technologically advanced, celestia nailed them, literally
Maidens of Sanctity is literally my favorite among all of them. I got goosebumps all over my body. Its so peaceful, charming, relaxing and many more. It is also the farewell music because Sumeru chapter is finally done and soon we'll arrive at Fontaine
The first track, Across Dimming Asterisms, has a strange time signature that keeps on changing 0:49 is 5/4 which gives it that slow motion 3:06 is 4/4 which gives the illusion of speeding up 3:30 is a mix of 4/4 for 2 bars and then 5/4 for 2 bars and repeating. This section, although has the same melody as the beginning section, has a completely different rhythm which is fun to count. The accents on the beats in the first 5/4 bar of each phrase gives it a flair 4:24 until the end is 5/4
10:52 en la misión, totalmente sumergido en la canción y leyendo las notas que hay cerca de un árbol al fondo (no quiero dar nombres para no dar spoiler) eso si me hizo llorar 😢
Genshin music do have magic within. Eventho I hate the days when I struggle so much during the exploration, sometimes I just want to stay still in a certain place after a long tiring exploration, give my character a nice seat (cause if they stand still they'll talk) and listening to the music, or just bullying the enemies with the smallest dmg and go
how i describe the song it's like a memory of gentle caring mom that loves but somehow she had to sacrifice herself. you already know it's a sacrifice, but you dont feel sad, what you feel is love. it's not in the pov of people and the god. but mom and her child.
In the Teyvat stories. That BIG DOOR was an ancient gate to the Khaenri'ah. Khaenri'ah is the nation of human. And it was the strongest, glorious nation in the past. I think that music expresses the glorious that Khaenri'ah had before, the sanctity of this gate, and the loneliness of no one. So i think it is really like the halo.
First reason why I like this video because Her Wishes and Maidens of Sanctity are my personal favourite OST. Second is that you're the only reactor so far that I found reacting to my favourite OST's.
That one scrawny erimite spear dude who yells "Law of the jungle" and after an annoying amount of searching u find out he has glictched half way into the ground and stuck
Maiden of sanctity OST is for 3 characters who has a connection to Vourukasha's Oasis: Nabu Malikata (Goddess of Flowers) - the creator of Khvarena Previous Hydro Archon ( Lord of Amrita ) - Vourukasha's Oasis is the location where she died during the Cataclysm 500 years ago & all of those water at the oasis & Amrita Pool is her remain ( probably her blood ) Rukkhadevata (Previous Dendro Archon) - Creator of Simurgh, the ancestors of Pari species from Nabu Malikata's Khvarena given to her. She's also the one who planted Harvisptokhm tree at Vourukasha's Oasis to anchor the late Previous Hydro Archon to the mortal realm during the Cataclysm 500 years ago, just before she went to Irminsul, creating Nahida & died in front of Irminsul. and after seeing the lore, this makes me cry everytime i listen to it
When you asked if it was supposed to be sad when the music swelled in Her Wishes, I just got like a flashback to sitting there in the oasis reading some of the quest dialogue and crying LOL Hopefully no one spoiled that area/questline, but yes it is sad and I don't think I've seen anyone get to that part of the quest without at least tearing up 😢
honestly i loved the first part of the desert, was kinda shocked with second and then was overwhelmed with the third part. but. the music. it's so fantastic i can't praise it enough it's so complex and beautiful and powerful
The moment you were mentioning how shadow and ruins sounded like something I was thinking HALO HAHAH! Also the first songs that come to mind are Across Dimming Asterisms and Cyno’s theme, Order of Silence. About Across Dimming Asterisms, in the last hoyofair, there was an animation called “Cyno verses the Gods” (or something along that lines.) it’s fan made and uses the battle track as a soundtrack. It’s quite epic.
Hello Mr. Samizard, sir. I would like to humbly suggest that you listen and react to some songs from the gacha game Arknights because I would really like to know your take on them! Here are a few that you might enjoy and have something to say as a drummer: - All hail Savior! - Operation Pyrite - Operation Basepoint - Il Siracusano Boss Battle Theme - El Brillo Solitario - Stainless Heart - Renegade - A Cold Call
I plan to dive into Arknights music some day, so these are great suggestions! I've done an Arknights drum cover, if you want to check that out ^.^ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JEBgR41p4ag.htmlsi=4vFLvO2aYWjDC6r9
Most interesting part is, Her Wishes have another version. You should listen all of them. I am still remember when entering the place. It's unforgettable.
after knowing the stories that the desert tells, all this OST tells a lot for the moment and now I hear it in a different way. They recently released Footprints of the Traveler Vol. 2, a sumeru compilation and how brutal it was.
I'm a little late but still suuuper stoked for this one, especially since it was practically your first reaction to a lot of these that was actually fun too. sooo many of my favourites tracks of the game on this list! ^^
Genshin Impact tiene uno de los mejores OST que he escuchado en la industria del vídeojuego. Espero con todas mis ganas lo que harán en Natlan. Ya que se basará en una de las culturas de mis antepasados 👌👌
