It's time to face the music. Today we're looking at my final 3 hands on Poker Night In America, in which I lost a large sum of money while inbibing a few too many cocktails. But were these plays fundamentally unsound? Could I have made better decisions with a more clear state of mind? Let's get our hands dirty in a special Poker Hands post-mortem.

As always, Doug breaks down each street of action. Poker Hands is the show where Doug analyzes live poker hands from tv poker shows such as Poker After Dark, EPT (European Poker Tour), High Stakes Poker, the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Aussie Millions, WPT (World Poker Tour) the Big One For One Drop, and the PCA (Pokerstars Carribean Adventure). He especially enjoys reviewing hands by popular high stakes pros like Viktor "Isildur" Blom, Fedor Holz, Dan Cates (Jungleman), Tom "Durrrr" Dwan, Phil Ivey, and Daniel Negreanu.

Doug let me give you some advice...see the thing is gambling+alcohol is the same as women+alcohol...when you use them separately it can be a lot of fun, but if you mix them together they turn you into a dumbass. Have a good one…cheers.

Ya know I gotta say Doug, being a full time player, I love how you show and talk about your great and, I won't say badly played hands but bad timing hands. I think it is great that you show players new and old your whole game. Unlike some who only show off their best, I love how your open about your game. Love your videos. Keep it up. This may be my favorite video to date. Not because you got stung, but because it shows sane logic filtered through an alcohol induced brain and ultimately fails. I wish there were card cams for every Last Hand I've played while drinking or stone sober that made all the sense in the world to me at the time, but retrospectively I could've, nay SHOULD'VE, gotten out of the way post flop.

The footage and commentary get so weird at the end! First they miss the 2 pair, then they announce that Doug's all-in and the other guy called. Then the other guy shows his cards then watches the river as if he was all-in? Was the money graphics wrong and Doug's turn bet had the other guy covered? But it looks like Doug snap folds his cards before river... Confusing!

thanks for sharing, another great vid! On that last hand I think it is very player dependant. From watching Calderaro before with Berkey and few others- he plays very ABC, never gets out of line and made some nitty folds pre/post. From that I would think his range is face up to premium hands even on the button. Turning KJ into a bluff against a rock is very optimistic. Seems like a standard fold in smaller stakes cash game given stack sizes. Folding is not as fun and you always make poker shows great with action so cheers! ;)
