Pro tip: Add coconut oil to your beard before you shower. Showers strip your beard of oil causing massive dryness. Oil your beard to the the root before showers and dont saturate your beard with water. The cocnut oil will act as a shield and retainer against the harshness of hot to warm water. If we bathed in cold then our beards would be ok. Cold water doesn't strip natural oils. Peace
Todah(thanks) Ahk. This is right on time as my husband suffers with dryness in the middle of the work day. And we already have both products at home... Shalom
Crushing the beard game. I've been growing mine for a while but didn't know the proper ways to take care of a beard to get it to grow. I follow a couple of you guys on here and I've seen definite improvements in my beard. Great tips!!
Beautiful beard brother great advice...I use a water bottle also but I put beard oil in it also to seal the extra moisture in my beard. Works great! Going to get some coconut oil...Thx
Appreciate the tip brother. The funny thing is go into my bathroom pantry and my queen had the same coconut oil and shea butter. Definitely will add to my routine. Enjoy watching your channel. Keep dropping the knowledge on the beard game.
trying this next time I run to the store been using the same products since basically day one and I think it's time to switch it up great to hear from you again!
Winter time here in Canada really dries mine out. Coconut oil is good but I find doesnt last very long. Will try the shea butter add in. Thanks a million big homie. Peace ✌🏽
Do you know if ceytl alcohol is bad for my beard. I'm looking at oils like vitamin E, and Jojoba and I notice that a lot of them have this in the ingredient list.
j williams its not the alcohol you would think but I haven't really seen it in oils its usually in creamy conditioners, lotions, shampoos oils should not really have any ingredients other than oils. I Don't know of any negative side effects it may have its supposed to be a softener
What you said about putting too much water on a curly beard was too true. That's always happened to me, and I would be fighting to get all the knots out...... THAT I CREATED LOL. Great stuff as always big Bro ✊✊👊👊. I'm still waiting for my beard to become complete within time.
I know you get food all in your beard because mine is nowhere near as thick as yours and no matter how careful I am with eating food always end up in it
I notice that when the weather changes, my beard has lots of breakage and I’ve lost a lot of hair. I use leave in conditioner in the morning, beard oil in evening and beard butter before bed. But every time I comb my beard the sink is filled with hair. I also take biotin and callogen. Summer and warm weather my beard is big. But soon as winter comes, most of it has broken off. I’m trying to get it to grow back and stop breakage. It happens every time this year.
themrwright40 Wow I uploaded a video on this topic yesterday!!! do a deep condition 1x per week use a beard oil then a balm to protect your beard from the cold!! I did a video on the deep condition. Also it could be your in conditioner I have tried some that work initially the. Dry me out by the end of the day!! You may need to experiment with different products!! Nighttime and morning routines are important too👊🏾
Same problem , stick to it though, I like using a buff for the winter because i usually work outside. Stay away from coconut oil during winter unless you wash it out completely with shampoo before you leave out in the cold , the coconut oil dries up and blocks pores and causes beardfall.
great information. I have been on my coconut oil kick for the last 3 weeks or so. I'm definitely liking the results. off topic... where do you have your neck line set? I set mine lower but I think I should go even lower to get a more full look.
Darius Lumpkin a couple of months ago I dropped it down almost as far as my beard will grow then i just clean up the stragglers that wont make a complete line! It looked rough for a long time because of the length difference but its blending a little better now
Shawkeem Dore much appreciate. its tough bro!! You go through some rough spells just don't make any quick decisions and stay strong!! And much success on your beard journey 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾
In your opinion. Does this work for all types of hair? Or just thicker beards? I have a real problem with midday dry beard. I work outside. Great looking beard sir!
Thank you for the information I am totally going through this situation right now. Question where did you purchase the Shea Butter from? I am trying to find it locally as we speak.
What's up bearded brother hope all is great, that is a very nice beard.question I have gotten confuse need to start my routine over.with all these site out now someone doing this someone doing that ,can get. you throw off.when you started you said you use only shea butter.was that morning and night.sorry for being so long.
Scott Sims I was using it twice a day but I wouldn't recommend using just the shea butter alone I got much better results when I started using other products along with it
Appreciate the video , do you think this would work on a beard that has some gray in it ? I'm white if that matters , but having severe drying out . Thanks so much
Hi, thank you for advices and your channel. Question : How much times is necessary for an afro beard reach the length that you have in this video please ?
Thanks for checking out the channel. It’s hard to say when because of trims and everything but I would say it took me over 2 years for my beard to fully mature and really become thick
Mr. Good Body I get Ingrown hair bumps too the bumps are a stage that will pass once your beard is long enough that the tip of the hairs aren’t poking the skin. Deep conditioning and the right beard oil will soften your beard enough to help out! Stay blessed 👊🏾
Ayy bro I use Shea butter mixed with Jamaican black Castor oil, is that a good mix? Also do you think I can add lavender oil to the mix as well?. Please reply me bro
I love all the helpful was to condition and moisturizing the beard. 100% oh growth is solely due to GENETICS guys, I know you want long, lush , thick beards but if it's not in your genetic make up it won't happen. Happy gromming!
James Anderson no problem bro! I have never seen it in a store I usually see that emu pain rub but that is like a icy hot please don’t put that on your beard it’s loaded with chemicals and not meant for hair! Stay blessed 👊🏾
Hello Fellah my name is Damon. ive started growing my beard now for about 3months. but i have very nappy hair. Whats a good product that i can use to help me get pass this stage?
Mr Damon L Crawford time, patience and keeping your beard hydrated is what will get you through the rough stages. In the beginning stages coconut oil, shea butter and a good beard oil applied 2x per day check out my other videos a lot of info there!! Stay strong on your journey 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾
I was just really explaining the process I didn't really apply it, but you are right I should have showed how I apply it but my beard was dry and I don't comb it out when its dry. Thanks your question will probably make my future videos a little better.👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
