Fly fishing for trout is fun: we can all agree on that, right? But admittedly, sometimes we can get carried away in the quest for building our skill set and it's nice to take a step back, slow down, and revisit that child-like enjoyment that got us into fishing in the first place. And what better way to do that than to bring the kiddos along? In this episode, my daughters and I go for a hike along a little wild brook trout stream in mid-June to enjoy the outdoors, catch some native trout and just have a good time.

Dude, you are so patient and easy going with your daughters....really cool. Of course, I love your fishing videos. You usually kill it on the first cast which is wishful thinking for me as a newbie. If you ever feel inclined, it would be great to have someone shoot as you cast....I'd love to see how you actually fish the streams that you are working. I know that you do not make these videos for purely instructional purposes, but for me, everything I can absorb from a pro like yourself, is awesome. Tight Lines!
