Did you ever measure the id of both bushings and give the company a call? Is it possible there are different sized bushings for different years NiceCNC is unaware of? Pretty f-ed up to make a summary judgement like that without measuring/calling and letting them know so they can make it right.
It’s not fucked up. Yes. I contacted the company. They made a mistake and made a huge batch of bad parts. These bad parts went to thousands of customers. They owned it. And sent me new parts. My summary stands. Other videos on the topic on the channel as well. Thanks for watching. Glad you didn’t make a summary judgment without seeing the follow up video…
@@linksgarage1985 Off the top of your head, give a rough 'guesstimate' of how many of your videos we should have to endure before we get it that you enjoy bashing companies mercilessly for their mistakes - and then stand by your atrocious lack of compassion for said simple mistakes. I understand exaggerating facts for dramatic effect, but I SERIOUSLY doubt bad parts went to THOUSANDS of people. I know I can't let "thousands" of mistakes leave my shop and still expect to be able to put food on the table for my family... NiceCNC wouldn't be in business today if that was the case.
nice brother !!! i seen some where on the web the oil cover failed hope it was a one off issue . ill try to find it when im off work and get you info to research . enjoy the weekend and hope it goes slow for you. great sending btw !!!
I reached out to them and they told me its possible for a defect here and there. To give them the sku number and they will check. Been over a week and not responded back to me again even after i sent the sku number to them.
Yo man I dig the DRZ content. I notice you have aftermarket handgrips. Did you buy an aftermarket throttle tube or suffer removing the bonded grip from the OEM tube? I went to change them thinking it would be an easy task and it turned out to be a massive PITA. If you went for an aftermarket tube, where did you go and what did you end up getting? Appreciate the content and glad you’re in one piece after the deer. Ride safe brotha!
Well bro. The grip was a pain. I ended up cutting it off with a razor. But if I had to do to all over, I’d do the Zeta 1/4 turn quick throttle tube. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Yes. I know. However, there are horrible stories of that bolt getting messed up, or issues with the case in that spot. So I leave it alone. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Contrary to the beliefs of some, that's not a drain plug - it's the main oil galley plug. Used for pressure testing. Not needed or recommended to mess with for an oil change.
Be very careful with there products such as clear cam cover windows with bolts on the inside.. the bolts don't have lock Tite and fall into the motor causing some severe issues..
@@linksgarage1985 I've actually spoke to the company there suppose to have a 2.0 version.. but I'd honestly just get the one from monster with the bolts on the outside..
@@linksgarage1985 that is a clear oil filter housing.. I said such as clear cam cover windows.. I was just letting it be know certain things are ok and some cause catastrophic failure in the engine... I hope that clears the confusion.. just spreading known first hand knowledge..
