My god this figure is gorgeous. Looks like it jumped right off an animation cell. Unfortunately I've never had any interest in Blaster as either a character or as a character design. But if I had any interest in owning a Blaster figure, this'd be what I'd want.

The G1 Ramhorn makes me sad :( I had one as a kid, but was fiddling with it at a bus stop and dropped it down a grate. The grate was a vent for an underground parking garage, it was only a meter or so deep before a flat concrete bottom with the sides open. So for years I could see Ramhorn still lying in there every time I went by the stop. I dreamed that someday I'd get it back, but I never did.

I kinda like the fact that g1 blaster is approximately masterpiece sized.

My Walmart finally got the Legacy line in store. Picked up Blaster and Eject last Saturday.

The transformation reminds me of the legacy blaster

The transformation was surprisingly complicated for something that's so boxy.

A pity about Ramhorn not fitting in this figure of blaster but a nice looking robot and beast mode which is what you want in transformer's toys.

This is also a reminder of what a great figure G1 Blaster was.

He looks really great. My one nitpick is I'd prefer a more G1 toy styled head since I much prefer Marvel Comic Blaster to Cartoon Blaster, if someone makes a toy-style head upgrade for this guy I'll definitely pick him up.

That's a spectacular looking Blaster! He jumped right out of the movie. I'm disappointed about the cassette not fitting but it's not the end of the world. I will have him!

Ramhorn robot mode is rino, Rhinox vehicle mode is rino.

If you abbreviate his name it comes out as RCA

When emgo was changing faces and the way he positioned the head I immediately had images of Hexadecimal from the Reboot series. It was probably the white face transitioning from neutral to smiling. The figure looks really good. Ramhorn is delectable. It's really a shame the mechanisms don't function as intended. I agree with the criticism about the space under the cassette port in alt mode. The dimensions are off causing a very odd, almost deformed look.

I got mine last week and I love it, I’m gonna go ahead and order a second copy for jam box mode.

Much as I appreciate the cartoon look, the KFC version is WAY more appealing. Also, G1 Blaster I knew he was big but he's HUGE! Speaking of, I'm a bit surprised the G1 toy head wasn't an option included.

This figure is basically perfect in robot mode, but the KFC one has been on my Masterpiece shelf for a long time and he's still good enough. I also still like the KFC boom box mode better.

the truth, it was not a character that attracted me so much, I quite like kfc too, and I thought about buying it a couple of months ago, but when I saw the preorder of this one, I couldn't resist. despite the fact that in my collection I am not as interested in it being as in the original animation, I loved the design, the quite understandable transformation, the only bad thing, as you commented in the Review, the cassette, and the tape ejection mechanism 😬, it would have been perfect if that system had worked well.

The KFC cassettes will presumably fit inside DS Blaster a lot better, so at least there's that option.

I said on Bens Channel the back is the weak spot with all them holes and screws. We need a third party to fix this where we can buy cover ups for these unsightly holes.

AT least Optimus was honest.

I just ordered one for a helluva deal, half off. They must have wanted a clearance or something. Maybe newer Blaster toys from other manufacturers are set to release or something.

Very cool, but for the price point, if the tape doesn't fit in and the doodads with the cassette storage doesn't work properly, I'mma pass on this one. Fortunately, Legacy Blaster is amazingly cool and works perfectly.

That seems to be a trend with MP cassettes that they don't fit inside their Soundwave or Blaster.

Controversial opinion: the Kingdom/Legacy Blaster is better. It’s a simpler transformation, the red is better, and he looks more badass. This is a very panel-heavy transformation with tons of twists of said panels. Sure, it’s a cleaner result by 10%, but it’s a messier process by 90%.

It will be good if Soundwave vs Blaster vs Perceptor vs Shockwave. I wonder who is the medic in Megatron. O wait they don't have a medic. Only scientist. No wonder preceptor is kidnapped. Wait why I tot should be Rachete.

So much flat parts that just fold out/slide over to cover what should just present as open surfaces - a fair bit of complicated engineering for what was originally a really simple transformation in the G1 version (which is/was always precious to me, I still have it somewhere but lost the gun)

i think G1 Ramhorn is better than the DS version not just because he is precious but the hole for the mecanism should be here and even if the overall robot mode is gorgeous and very G1ny it iss a NO for me because all the purpose of this character is tu have k7 in his torso et you can eject them but unfortunatly the mecanism is not working and Ramhorn need to go on a diet to fit properly in his housing and i am agree with you Mr Gomez, the buttons seat a little to high for me in getho blaster mod

For people that have this guy, how’s the transformation?

Good review but 3rd party and masterpiece figures transformations all just seem too finicky for my liking. I'm good with my $30 Kingdom Blaster.

It looks good in robot mode, but I'm not a fan of the transformation.
