dist's weird obsession with flynns ring really held him back in this run. just upgrade your damn equip load so you don't fatroll and have tolerable stam regen.
Yeah, I seriously don't understand why anyone likes the Flynn ring. Having a minimum equip load sucks, especially in Dark Souls 2. Slower stamina regen, worse and slower roll, have to unequip and re-equip your armor and weapons all the goddamn time, and more.
I first saw this game in my brother's friend's PS3 and I was like "it's a pretty cool game" but I only saw like 2 seconds of it But when I started playing Bloodborne after like 2 years later, I do some research and actually find it as a pretty cool game

my memory is a little rusty... what are the requirements for powerstancing? isnt it like 1.5 strength requirement and 2 times dex requirement or something?
I’m 44 seconds into this run and I can feel how awesome it’s going to be. I’m really excited; is it going to be dual red swords or a red and a blue sword? Time will tell.
There are two versions of ds2 Scholar of the first sin(the one you have) This contains a lot more petrified statues and more enemy swaps, placements, and so on And the normal/vanilla version The "vanilla" does not contain any changes, no dragon, no chariot in drangleic castle etc.
You have to get a cheat table for Dark Souls 2 online. Then you load the table in CE and can use it to do whatever. Without the table all you can see is the raw addresses, which don't help much.
well stamina regen is ALWAYS HORRIBLE in dark 2, not mentioning how everything is so stamina consuming .. always makes me feel like saying fuck it & go back to play Devil may cry or -Castlevania
Watching this original DS2 run, makes me so annoyed at how now everyone hates DS2 because of Scholar...if only they left this version available, people could enjoy the game for what it really was...Scholar is a pile of shit.
Honestly, it's so dumb that when one side of the Flexile Sentry is attacking, the other side just does nothing. It's absolutely wasted potential, and sums up my main issue with this game -- the only difficulty lies in bullshit hitboxes and staggers. Of course, there's exceptions, but very few.
C1 Glad I am not the only one thinking this way. I am about to finish the game, only 6 dlc bosses and 2 vanillas bosses left. And this game tilted me way more than I expected. Most bosses I did first try, but the areas, some npcs, most mechanics und hitboxes are pure bullshit. And the bosses were no challenge at all. I thought the boss fights would be the funniest and best part of the game but 90% of the normal enemies were more of a pain in the ass. Some bosses were so fucking easy but the circumstances made them unnecessarily hard. For example anchient dragon. It‘s moveset is so fucking slow and dumb. The only attack hitting from time to time is his attack where he flies up and spits fire in a huge cone. But the boss was still hard as fuck for me because of his goddamn tankiness. My weapon (I used blackk knight greataxe+5 back then) broke 6 times in a single fight and the fight lasted 9 minutes. Why? Why wasting so much time for a non-challenging boss? And I died so many times because his fire breath would hit multiple times on rare ocassions
dude is power stancing these but never uses the 2 attacks. so far its just been L2 and R1. no L1. like the entire point of power stance is to hit with both weapons together dealing more damage not just use R1.
