i take it az a clliffhanger cuz he couldve just made a gash in his head and he cut his arm off. this could lead to scraptrap. i think there might be an ending called the "redemption ending" where he fixes his mistakes in from the past.

I also got this ending at the end of my first playthrough, I kinda knew that taking DaveTrap home was a breeding ground for bad events, but I hoped that in the end Jack and Dave could be best friends. When Dave said "I love you" REALLY fuckin' brought me to tears.

Would have been less scary though as if jack just killed Henry that would have most likely been the end of it but the implications is that Henry is going to control Jack which will end up will tons more children dead
@@oofyeet5935what the person means is that if Jack decided to start his OWN legacy without Henry or Dave it would’ve been scarier. I kinda think their right too, because the fact a soulless being would decide to go on his own rampage all with himself is pretty damn terrifying.
This was my first ending for DSaF3. really, when i first boot up DSaF1 i thought it would be a funny meme game for laughs and giggles. ...i really was not prepared for something like this.
BRO THE FIRST TIME I PLAYED I GOT THIS ENDING BUT I WAS TRYING TO HELP EVERYONE SO I LIED TO DEE AND I WAS HAPPY WITH DAVETRAP AND THEN THINGS GOT TURNED UPSIDE FOWN SO FAST LIKE WHY THE HELL DID JACK BECOME HENRYYYY 😭 I NEVER CRIED SO HARD BC OF A VIDEO GAME BEFORE THAT.
wait, how would William be dead? They’re both immortal beings after all, right? At the most, Jack probably incapacitated/paralysed Dave to the point where he’s in peril and agony but can’t do anything about it anymore
I believe DirectDoggo actually answered this, or at least I've heard this before. Dave isn't immortal, he would just repossess his own corpse. After Jack kills him, he's too heart broken to come back.

Seeing the comments and all with everyone saying that they got sad from this ending, which was quite the opposite of what I experienced with this ending. When I got this ending (it was my first ending) and got to this scene I zoned out in a mini trance kinda as my vision slowly zoomed out and my face grew a malicious grin. When the game force quitted at the end of it all I finally snapped back into myself and lost the grin and such. It just came naturally to me for some reason and I always get reminded of that moment I had when I remember DSAF series.
Why does Direct Doggo love torturing Dave? No seriously, in the neutral ending Jack gives Dave a verbal lashing for no reason and in the bad ending he straight up dies. Even in the good ending he moves on without his old sport!
All of these innocent person commenting about the death of Dave. But, wasn't it gonna happen? It was just natural. It wasn't that big of a loss. Because everything will loop back. There is no need to worry. I mean aside from this game. I can pretty much what I want. Because I know that everything will loop back. And thus allowing me to do whatever I want. And after all my dream of merging with Mecanization will have to be fullfiled. I will achieve what no other person will be able. Beeing non human. With this, I will be able to finally suceed in what I love. Mecanization! Mark my words. Because I want to do this. And Todays' world will die in absolute pain. And this will the pinacle of my reseaches. What I always admired will prove itself very useful. So useful that it'll be able to destroy all humans. Pityful weak organisms. Dying at any moments. Because they're weak.
