Thing is, yellowcards ONLY get matched with other yellowcards... That means people are gonna start spam quitting matches trying to get the same penalty because they'd have a decently high chance of running into him. Phil's ragequitting is actually so bad that it's negatively affecting the game's whole online climate. That's fucking hilarious.

He complains that he can't do anything and that he is forced to stare at a blinking screen and there's nothing he can do to get better. Practice mode is sitting right there. You can even train while waiting for matches.

He only ever loses because the game doesn't allow him to block (when he is mashing), or randomly drops his inputs (but never the opponent's), or is balanced poorly (yet he insists on playing low tier characters to have an excuse for losing).

To anyone who doesnt know. Capcom made sure that if you rage quit too much. You will be given warnings. Yellow cards gives people a warning and matches him with people who rage quit. But it can range for a long time to find a match since no one else rage quits. If you rage quit and get red card. You can face getting banned for weeks to months to forever. The only way to get out if it is to play the game without rage quitting to redeem yourself or you can wait a few weeks til it goes away

Wasn't Phil praising tekken for having a system that would punish him in this exact scenario? Tekken basically will not punish you for disconnected matches but will keep track of how many times a person is in a match that disconnects then realize you are the one disconnecting and ban you? That's basically what's happening here. he quits enough times to trigger a ban then calls the game and devs shit? Text book moment of rules for theee but not for me type of mentality. Also is dashboard quitting his own lingo? Cause regardless what he calls it's something he trashed LTG for doing. But no his rage quits are justified. I saw like 30 mins of his stream out of curiosity last night. 1. The chat is a bunch of weirdos that whenever he gets his ass beat the opponent was “spamming” or using META. 2. DSP won 3 matches by literally spamming the same 3 moves and the dents cheer him on. His spams are calculated while the opponent walking him down with combos was mashing random shit. 3. Even when he’s winning he’s getting dropped inputs or his moves aren’t registering. He so used to making excuses he sets up the excuses just incase his mashing technique dosent work. Anyone who gives him even slight criticism or honest feedback is a troll. How anyone is a legitimate fan of his is truly fascinating and should be studied.
I can understand that if the game crashed or a power outage occurs mid match. Then he could have a point of not having a yellow card.
