I think there's two reasons he's no longer playing dress up for money 1. He's sick of people calling him a hypocrite because he also dresses up when he does his bitter jealous "THESE OTHER STREAMERS" rants where he mentions them dressing up like cartoons as a negative. 2. It's part of a cope he's said a few times before where he claims people don't pay him just to see him wear a goofy hat they pay him because the khantent is entertaining, the hat is a bonus. Does Phil understand that he has perks that, when they are hit, he is obligated to do them and if he doesn’t fulfill said obligation, that qualifies for a refund?
This really boils down to a civil contract. Phil wears the costume for a certain amount of money. If he takes off the costume after receiving the money, then he has broken the contract. It is absolutely reasonable for anyone to get their money back.
What about all those other chargebacks that went through? He was just as cocky about those. Hopefully this guy will call his bluff and go through with the chargeback
