DTF Halftone Sample: 1st print & comparison using the Epson Ecotank ET-8550.

In today's video, I'll be showing you what a DTF halftone image looks like. Instead of printing full lines to make the design a series of dots is used, creating a sort of abstract effect. Halftone also reduces ink consumption.
The print on the left is a print using Acrorip's remove black feature and I used a Mclaud Hot Peel.
The right print is the halftone image I made in photoshop and printed with Acrorip on a Dtgpro Cold peel.
Both designs were printed using the Epson Ecotank ET-8550.

That looks great! Can you tell me how to get my printer to print black blacker (if that makes since)! For some reason my computer keeps asking me if I want to use several colors to create black, even though my black ink isn't low.

Check in printer settings/extended settings/ make sure the box that says use multiple colors to make black isn't checked.

@@HangryMuscle thanks! I think I was getting frustrated while looking for it. Epson registration keeps locking up my computer in the middle of my prints. 🤨 oh! Do you know how to turn that off? Ever had that problem?

Great video. I took the risk and converted the same printer. And have the ripsoftware acrorip.....at what settings do you have it? Can't get my colors to play p like yours. Thanks in advance. And your half gone looks amazing.

Try different icc profiles or use a photo editor to adjust the colors.
