This one has a smooth and soft feel because I used less ink, the black ink was knocked out. DTF prints thats use a lot of ink can have a plastic feeling. yes different films give different feels

Less ink on the shirt so it feels better.

Both great printers, I had much more success with my 8550 though, however that comes down to your knowledge of the printer as well as with DTF. YOLO! Not sure, for this printer I removed the front rollers to convert it over to DTF. Was that what you did for the sublimation conversion?

Yes, you need the rip software to print the white layer. Without the white layer, your prints will not last.

I already had the Xp-15000 and Acrorip was the only rip software that offer compatibility for both the Et-8550 and Xp-15000 at the time.
