This one has a smooth and soft feel because I used less ink, the black ink was knocked out. DTF prints thats use a lot of ink can have a plastic feeling. yes different films give different feels
Both great printers, I had much more success with my 8550 though, however that comes down to your knowledge of the printer as well as with DTF.
