DTF Printer Won't Print? Here's How to Fix It

I’m having this exact issue, did you resolve it? I click clean head, nothing, nozzle check nothing, print nothing. But the ink light is flashing

We can first eliminate the situation that the printer doesn't have a good connection with the cartridge. Take the cartridge out and look at the electronic ribbon. Use a paper towel to clean off any ink stain or glue. Also, look at the brass pins on the printer and make sure they are clean and dry. Re-seat the cartridge a few times and see if that makes a difference. If the printer still cannot recognize the cartridge after many tries. It is likely the cartridge has gone bad. These cartridges are designed for one-time use and can go bad at any time. First, the printer will heat a reference resistor on the cartridge. The resister is heat insensitive, which means it remains the same resistance at high temperatures. Then the printer compares the opposition with all the nozzles. If the differences in the resistance between the reference resistor and nozzle are too significant, the printer will mark the nozzle as a failure. If the failures exceed a certain level, the printer will keep the cartridge unusable. Unfortunately, this problem is not fixable, and the cartridge has to be discarded. If you need to get more empty cartridges, I suggest using eBay. Search for your cartridge model plus the keyword "empty virgin." The virgin means never been refilled. These cartridges are the best for refill purposes. Do not use remanufactured cartridges. Reman cartridges usually have an outer chip that overwrites the OEM chip. However, sometimes the chip will catch moisture and malfunction. Furthermore, the manufacturer cartridges use recycled OEM cartridges, so the nozzles may be faulty to start with.
