I can’t hear this song and not think of when he sang at Steve Irwin’s funeral at Australia Zoo and the camera panning to everyone just so emotional and crying.

In Australia True Blue became the way to describe a person's character. It refers to someone being genuine, extremely loyal, honest and expresses Australian values. Is it a dying race? Some would say yes.

The First Album I ever bought on CD from the Sanity Music store at age 15 (I was born in 1988, I am 34 now) was John Williamson - Home Among The Gumtrees. I love this music. I love John Williamson. I Love the Song Home Among The Gumtrees. Slim Dusty was anolther great Aussie Country Singer. One of the very best. RIP Slim.

FYI Smoko = a short break, usually at work and usually for a cigarette or quick snack as smoko is only about 5 minutes. True Blue = Australian/s but also the Aussie attitude
