Liked the video Tom. I love the approach to gaming of letting the kids come to it as they want. I too love the social aspect of games, especially with the family.
Thanks for the tips... Really enjoyed this one. My kids are two and quite enjoying some HABA games. Great seeing them learn to roll dice, take turns and communicate together.
Thank you for sharing about your family, Tom. I am expecting my first hild soon, and you really inspire me with your faith in Christ and commitment to family.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I do not have kids of my own yet, but I plan on doing much like you have with your kids. Expose them to a variety of games, used as a family bonding activity, and see where it goes.
"Pretty soon she (Melody) will be thirteen and she'll pretend that she doesn't love me anymore. And doesn't want to play games anymore." Well, luckily it's not the case now, is it? ;) A lovely video of a lovely family. Big smiles for you all the way from Poland! :)
That was great. Brought a tear to my eye. Wow! 2009... 5 kids with another on the way, and in another country. What an adventure. And it's all recorded here. Glad I stumbled upon these older episodes Tom. Hope to see you at GenCon 2017. Thanks

Wow. that is so true! Games are what brings a family closer! Yeah, I have a hard time picking out the right game, but I think these videos help me a lot, thanks!
I too saw the opportunity for using games to bring people together in the last weeks. It's a good and fun way to put teens together these days and to make them interact. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
Tom, your definitely a great father! When I found a family I really want to play board games often with then (the best thing would be if I meet my future wive at the game club or in Essen ^^). I agree with you: It's no good idea to play adults games with kids. In our game club we tried to play "Coach ride to Devil's Castle" or "Shadows over Camelot" with kids and it just didn't work (but I think one of the kids is a really big fan of the last game...).
Adorable video. Your little video game destroyer is just like mine. :) haha still trying anyway! Since we just have 2 she is here for everything. Loved this.
@ StexeGod: I think that just proves that it's possible to have a lot of kids and enjoy it (not like in Malcom in the Middle ^^). I could image to have three, but more is also a bit scary for me. Europeans are really on the best way to die out... xD
I also enjoy video games, but even played on-line they are nowhere near as fun and as socially involving as a good board game. I hope board gaming becomes more popular aided by great presentations such as Tom's.
