Fig.11 Fig.13 Fig.14 in the service manual. These measurements are crucial. And a pain in the arse to get dialed in. But I would bet that’s all this needs.

just wanted to say thank you ,without this video i would never have been able to restore ,customise and rewire a dual 1219 found dumped ..any recommendations for a stylus ?
Glad the video was helpful. There are lots of options for a cartridge. I think Audio Technica carts are probably the best value...just depends on your budget.
My 1219 , the cam is very stiff to turn. That has to be an issue as the arm needs to kick the cam to start the shut down sequence. Cam pivot looks very buried!

Yes, now is the time to get this machine in proper working order and then you can cash it in for a easy $1000. The madness that the vinyl world is in right now. These are fantastic machines but I’m not sure they are worth what people are paying for them.
We've had a 1219 on the floor for $200 for about six months...it just sits there. Pioneer, Marantz, and Denon tables move pretty quickly. Duals? Not so much...
