It's amazing how much the Ace Attorney series has changed since the original. Now we have smooth new animations and models, full orchestral soundtracks, and hell, it's even getting an anime! I can't wait for the Western release of AA6.

I'm so happy that Phoenix has his badge back. Whenever I get to play as Phoenix, I feel as though I'm in the role of an immortal hero. He survived Kristoph, he survived Shelly, he survived Redd. Who CAN stop this man? Knowing that I play as him gives me the confidence boost to turn ANY case around, even an impossible maze of doubts. Knowing that Phoenix defended Athena in the last case made me confident in her innocence.
When I listen to this now, I just imagine how perfectly it would fit in a reveal trailer for Phoenix in smash. I don't think it will ever happen, but man would it make me happy
Each time this theme was played I was thinking about the whole series and how Phoenix used to be so awesome (and still is) in every case. When you listen to this you know you can't lose!
This theme is absolutely perfect to me. The cheeriness of the melody, the power and confidence of the orchestra, plus all the emotions that T&T memories bring, all to show the mastery Phoenix has over being a lawyer at this point. It's just....UGH i love it.
I'm shocked at realizing now that this is the song from Trials and Tribulation D: I thought this was a new song lol. It's amazing how different it sounds :D
I remember a class I could listen to music in while doing tests. Man I wish I could that these days, cause I guarantee the entire soundtrack would be these games. You'd ace every test with em.
it sounds like when this is your sountrack, you'll look like some sort of legend or someone who will turn the fight around. it fits Phoenix Wright's comeback
AA is like persona 3: the music isn't in his head, there is just a magical force that puts the correct music in the correct time and everyone grew up with it so no one cares

I love how this theme became Phoenix's theme. I mean it was great in T&T but with orchestrated remake as Phoenix's theme! I only wish it had come sooner so it could have been there to rival Professor Layton's theme in PLvsPW. Now that would be great.
Whenever I listen to this, it takes me back to when Phoenix was the only attorney in their Agency. Ahhh... The memories. :D Glad to be alive to play this series.

Phoenix saved his mentor's family and defeated their greatest enemy. He earned Mia's theme over three games. Everyone who dislikes reusing this song can argue with a wall.

@@donnie1774 Um... Yeah? What are you trying to imply, that Phoenix is being segregated lol? It's simply because it's jarring in the case of Phoenix, the other characters didn't really get to have any other objections beforehand, not to mention 2004 is a bizarre choice since it's really not the "heritage" theme people claim it to be and more of a "the TnT objection" from its usage in the game (even Edgeworth uses it for god's sake), to be fair that's because the objections weren't character leitmotifs before like aai, and even there it's actually entirely different compositions. As for Ryu, people would've definitely would've at least been confused by the lack of a remix... If it didn't release in western countries in a bundle that made people not notice it's two separate games.
@@shlokwaghela9560 edgeworth uses the theme because he’s embodying Phoenix for the trial, and Phoenix is using the theme because it’s Mia’s, and this is the game he surpassed her, hence it becomes his theme. The heritage argument isn’t broken by miles
@@donnie1774 Again, you *could* make that argument, but it's all so convoluted that it's pretty obvious that 2004, like the objections beforehand, weren't meant to leitmotifs (how does phoenix have two themes since 2001 and 2002 are both his, why do they use 2001 in AJ which is immediately set after TnT, what actual evidence is there to suggest they had planned 2004 as a leitmotif before DD)
Every time I listen to this version I really feel they managed to turn it into Phoenix's theme - the T&T version feeling way more like Mia's theme than his, as many have pointed out. I dont know what it is about the orchestrals but paired up with the new, more experienced Phoenix, it really feels like it's his own.
Honestly, I know this may sound heretical, but for me, Dual Destinies is the best AA game so far. Okay, maybe a tie with T&T. But damn, the feels in this game! I want to erase my memories just to play that last case for the first time again. And that soundtrack, damn.
Dual Destinies is definitely one of the best AA games, I'd say. There are a few areas where I think they could've improved, like doing more for Trucy's character or having higher penalties, but overall it was pretty great.
Yeah sometimes it was a bit too easy. It was often very, very obvious what conclusion / contradiction you should point out next because whoever was your "assistant" in court basically told you what to do.
Oh god. I just finished this game two days ago. It's too damn good! I wish there were more. ;-; Playing the DLC now. I want more DLCs! xD. Also, when I first played it, I was so shocked to see Prosecutor Gavin and Miles Edgeworth! I was so happy when I saw them! xD
I'd say AJ has better themes (except that one song that got annoying as hell in case 3) but the themes in this game are pretty great except for the cornered theme.
FAILentin It's just underwhelming that there's three of them, and they all sound almost identical. It's basically just a 'slight' remix of Athena's cornered theme for both Wright and Appollo.
TheGamingTurret AJ had good music, but they legit never used it in the game. Instead they would always play that stupid suspense theme all the fricking time(the OG suspense theme)
i'm playing through apollo justice rn to play the games in chronological order but god am i excited to play this one and hear this orchestral genius in-game
Oh man, it sounds like the Professor Layton soundtrack that plays when he is revealing the culprit in each game. I keep imagining the scene from Curious Village... God, this crossover game is gonna be good.
I gotta say, i've only played Ace Attorney for a few months now but listening to this makes it feel nostalgic liek I haven't played the original trilogy in years.
Just finished this game yesterday. It's probably the best game that I've played from the new trilogy so far. In AJ : AA, I don't really care much about Apollo and his story - I was only looking forward to seeing Phoenix in the game. But this game actually made me care about Apollo as a character a lot more than before. And then there's Athena and Blackquill, both whom I find interesting (Blackquill's the best prosecutor after Edgeworth for me). The 3 cases toward the end just made me feel like crying. This game was THAT good to me. Both the plot and soundtrack were pretty well done. The game was so satisfying to play. Now I've just started playing Spirits of Justice. I do hope it's just as good or better than DD. ....and I'm gonna play DD from the beginning again when I have the time. Hehe.
I love how ace attorney looks now, I mean I love the original as well and pixelated art was really neat but the models and animations in the game now, in my opinion, express the characters more to say the least. The OST's are awesome too!
This is quite possibly my favorite song in the series, the only competition I can think of is Godot's theme for very different reasons obviously but both are AMAZING

God the 2011s my love of the moon blossomed and this theme makes me wanna just stare up into the moon day or night with this playing and the opening is so damn good just the piano and violins is amazing
This theme feels so much more grand and heroic than its other 2 variants (2004 and 2016). I saw a lot of other commenters saying that its also really quite cool they picked this theme, since the 2004 version played during Mia's cases as well. Idk if that was the reason they brought this back instead of 2001, but it does bring her to mimd a bit whenever this plays.
