Sending audio from your Gaming PC to your Streaming PC can prove to be a pain. This video will show you how to easily route audio from your Gaming PC to your Streaming PC using Voicemeeter Banana's VBAN feature. Never again does setting up audio for a Dual PC's have to be painful!

So I recently added a display port repeater to my dual pc streaming setup. I needed a way to get the audio over to the streaming pc and was having trouble with voicemeeter recognizing my Avermedia card on that computer. I did some quick research and found out about VBAN. Having watched a couple of videos I was more confused than ever. Clicked on yours expecting to be just as equally confused. Boy was I wrong, extremely quick and easy instructions and thank you for explaining that I needed to have Voicemeeter on the streaming PC. Other videos seem to completely forget that point. Bravo!

Best tutorial out there I was sending audio through HDMI but using VBAN is better. Would love to know how do I send my MIC audio separately.

My gaming pc is set up to send the out put signal but when I turn on the vban on the streaming signal it says there no incoming streams (fire wall is off on both pc’s ) (ip to stream pc is on game pc)

1yr later but check if the sample rate match, if there’s audio activity on the host pc and if you’ve got the right ip Adress (green light in VBAN)

Thanks so much! U save me 100 bucks on an interface. I already have a goxlr but didn't wanna hook it up to my stream pc cause I like the faders controlling my game and browsers volumes and such. I send my audio over the HDMI with my capture card and its great but its one mix and that's normally fine especially since that's the main purpose of goxlr is to mix in to one stream. But on one pc u can still select chat mic separately in obs and add filters to remove noise etc. The broadcast mix(over the capture card) is well a mix of all audio sources routed there. With the vban method I don't need to route my mic to the broadcast mix and instead I vban the mic over to a virtual input on my stream pc and select that as an audio source in OBS and add my filters! This was extremely useful, i got everything setup and working by following the instructions. The only thing i now need to figure out is how to improve voice quality as with this method the mic now sounds quiet with an echo.

so i cleared that issue, it was my host that i needed to connect to and no the IP in my streamer pc, however the voices i get are so so distorted...

Dont route your mic to your headphones and you should be good. For most people this is going to be turning off A1 in your settings.

i have a switch between my internet cat 6 cable and from my switch 2 intercables to both pc's so i have a network 2 and 3 could that be the problem it doenst works for me? cause the sound isnt coming to true my voice meeter on the gaming pc

It is the same network but with a switch between it so i can put a cable to both pcs

I’m having a strange issue that I can’t figure out. Both PCs on ethernet but the receiving end has horrible quality. There’s a horrible static/interference sound on the incoming audio and changing the network quality has no effect. Only makes it worse depending on what I change. Any ideas?

It will pick up the audio for any source as long as you route it to the streaming pc.

You need to route you hardware input devices to b1 or b2 in voicemeeter and then add those outputs as audio sources in obs.

Your 100% sure that both computers are on the same network and you are using the internal IP address not the public one? If so hop in the discord and ill see if I can help you out.

that IP is for the local network only your modems IP usually does not start with 192.168. and most modems IP address's are dynamic so they change regularly

@@Lockhinator apologies for sounding like a snob...it was not very in-depth...a great deal of people stream with OBS...I came here because i wanted to interface this software with OBS and found that it was more of a headache than what it is worth...I completely deleted the software and found out a way to use elgato capture software to get the audio from my mic and gaming PC to my streaming PC... I have 2 PCs in one case...

Make sure you set the right ip address and both computers are on the same network. Also make sure you name the incoming and outgoing the same on both machines.
