Used to stay in Saudi before....Al Baik is epic in Saudi and beats every fast food chain hands down. KFC & Popeye's doesn't get any love if there is a AB around.
Yeh the only reason they used to thrive and survive is coz AB wasn't in the Eastern region of ksa till recently. Now that they have arrived here, popeyes has vanished from khobar and hardees branches have reduced here but kfc is still surviving. Mcdonalds and bk are thriving cos of their specials and beef.
This review is awesome! I've tried Al-Baik at Saudi and it was very good. It would be great to see more brands expanding throughout the middle east. Have you tried Pepe's in Dubai? It would be great to get your review for it and compare it to the UK (a lot of people have said it is much better than the UK stores)
Great review Ali! That crispy batter looked really interesting! And the nuggets! 🤤🤤 - So good to have you back, really looking forward to the Dubai content and everything else 🙏❤️🔥🙏
Mash'Allah brother Ali , on point again as always 😊. Quick request would you consider giving advice on travelling ...do's and don'ts? . Especially with covid restrictions etc.....btw had my 1st Al baik in Makkah way back in 2006
I went to the same al baik in the dubai mall and waited 6 hours in line to get well some mediocre food the burger was good but very heavy cuz 9f the cheese they use and the nuggets were good with that nugget sauce but not worth waiting in line with the entire population of the uae Qatar and Kuwait combined
Ali, is there a difference in taste between UK vs UAE or Asia's KFC ? And how much better is one from the other maybe a video idea comparing franchises internationally.
While traveling abroad, when in doubt KFC is my safest choice.. Personally to my tastes, every country had it's own uniqueness on the special menus, but the batter, oil and cold-slaw will almost taste the same nevertheless.. 🤔
UK "halal" KFCs arent exactly halal as they use stunned chicken. Same with Nandoes etc. Would kindly request brothers/sisters to be vigilant on these franchises who claim to use halal chicken.
@@HussainMubeen shukran akhi, glad someone finally pointed it out I was tempted to but people get defensive when they have cognitive dissonance lol , we must be willing to sacrifice for the sake of our creator (Allah) .
I'm from Manchester and I'm currently living out in Jeddah (the home of Al Baik). Yes, it is incredibly cheap and fresh but it simply doesn't compare to the fried chicken joints in Manchester. I probably go there once every 6 months as it's cheap, cheerful and convenient. One thing I'll say is that Al Baik is an institution in Saudi, especially the west coast. Every Al Baik is packed no matter what time of day or night. When I'm back in Manchester, I'll have a chicken burger at least 3 times a week at various takeaways. Now, if you're talking about burger joints (smashed patties etc), no place or city in the UK comes close to the burger scene in Jeddah - The quality is insane.
Hey Could you please tell me what pastry shop sell those authentic itialian pastries? I saw a youtube short you did but i cant seem to find the video anywhere ! Ive searched all over your channel 😭
Great Vid. It’s always nice to go to a food court and not worry if the food is halal or not ☺️I think I’ll fly to Dubai just to try those Chicken nuggets they looked great.. And I guess you’ve left your Heymans back in Blighty 😂😂
Tried it in Saudi, thought it was utter garbage. Watery nuggets and overcooked chicken with no seasoning. Saw the line in Dubai mall when on holiday a month back, and was baffled at how long it is every time. Must be because it’s cheap (and cheerful I guess?). Edit** definitely looks much better in your video, but I’m still not waiting in that line😂
Al baik is by far the best fast food chain for me, but the reason why it is only found mostly in gulf countries is that if it goes to other countires, kfc and popeyes are gonna go bankrupt. Well thats has happened in saudi arabia and even in uae now. And i wm totally eith it cus kfc and popeyes are nothing infront of albaik
@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS just come back from Turkey myself bro. Their food is very bland. Personally didn’t like it. And their kebabs are nothing like the UK
93 like Todays food review with extraordinary. I loved the description and detail in it. I also enjoyed your honest feedback it made me feel I was there with you 🙌 🙌 Just amazing 🤩🤩
Had it in Saudi, unfortunately didn't manage to get a fresh hot broast but it was decent. Need to get it properly. Just goes to show how much everyone else rips you off. And yep, no idea why they add extra buns
I had this last week but only tried the 4 piece meal, I personally didn't like it. The batter was so bland. Although everyone says the nuggets is better, so need to try that.
# North South East West.. Albaik broasted chicken is the best.. 💪😋 That's what I've by coincidentally treasured from the western region oh the KSA 🇸🇦.. ✌️👍🆙
@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS Once apon a time, somebody did a copy-cat one in KL 🇲🇾 complete with logos & everything, it did pulled in some crowd, but never was even close with the original..👌
People only go there because it's cheap, but the chicken tastes like shit, I gave it a chance 2 times but no way, my self made fried chicken tastes way better
