Cars, yachts, gold, jewelry 💎 buildings! What is there not to like about Dubai 🇦🇪 right?
Well, in all honesty is not a place that looked attractive in my taste, at least from what I had seen on social media.
But I had a good reason to come to Dubai, to participate in a content creator Summit called 1 Billion Fiollower Summit #1BillionSummit so I got the chance to experience this city first had, and I have to say, my image of Dubai has shifted for good 🙌
Dubai is becoming a center place for content creators and creative people from all fields, and the reasons are substantial.
The city is an Oasis of openness in the Arab World, it is an example of what happens when you allow freedom of speach and religion freedom to its citizens.
Obviously the financial incentives are a big part of it, but my advice, if you want to make a mental picture of a place, go visit. Social media tends to make bad portraits of what a city or a culture really are.

Tolerance is taught at schools? so you spent few days and you think you know what's taught at schools? I was a teacher at an IB World School in Dubai and I was asked to remove "Schindler's list" from recommended movies listed in my presentation about empathy (even though it was in the curriculum), not to talk about Jews and Holocaust and teachers remove rainbow colours from everywhere, because LGBTQ is also restricted topic and I was also told that they could see my knees when I sit down and it's not appropriate :D so drawing conclusions based on nigh clubs experience is wrong.

@@frauleingermany4435 all the other foreign teachers living in Dubai knew this, because it's just a fact that they remove too many topics from the British curriculum, but they'd lose their jobs if they expressed any opinion against what's advertised. This is the reason why I've learned what reality was, only when I was there. I actually thought it was multicultural and people were much more open minded than in other Middle Eastern countries; if I knew the truth, I'd definitely go to the South East Asia.

@@retrogamer2841 first of all, if anyone "disrespects" their law they will be in prison, so it's not even a choice, do you know the difference between cultural norm and the law? 😁 Secondly, I did leave the country. Thirdly, having a reaction on them being intolerant to everything foreign doesn't make me intolerant and what does "double standards" have to do with this, are you sure you have a correct definition of that word😀? I would have double standards, if Chinese, Koreans, Turks, Slovenians or Czechs were also intolerant to me but I still liked them, but they weren't when I lived in their country for much longer time compared to time I spent in Dubai and Kuwait.

Dubai is the best place to visit. Their crime rate is almost none. Even though you forget your stuff anywhere you will get it back. You will see their no discrimination great place.

All marketing discount code influencers from germany move to dubai. they don't have to pay taxes there. Just as much blood sticks to it as e.g. to Qatar. Poor migrant workers from e.g. Pakistan, who have already lost everything anyway, are being exploited and enslaved. People there said themselves they didn't need poor people there unless they shine their shoes, the prime minister had his daughter kidnapped and tortured. They trample on human rights. And do you think there is freedom of the press for influencers there? To influence you need a license that only allows you to talk positively about Dubai. Quasi you are a cheap advertising platform. I thought you were mostly cool, but I find it unprofessional that you bring something like this up now.

Where are you getting all this information from? I would suggest you to not believe everything you see on social media. At least I personally avoid judging a place until I've seen it with my own eyes. I spend a lot of time in the poorest parts of Dubai, in fact, I slept there the entire time, and in my experience, by talking with the construction workers, taxi drivers, cookers etc, which are all Indian, Pakistani, Philippinos, Nigerian etc, they are there voluntarily because the work is good, they can save money and send it home, and no one is being forced to do anything. The most complaint I heard is that they miss their culture, their families and the trees, but they prefer to be in Dubai because it's much safer, they pay well and their living standard is very good compared to back home. Negative news get more clicks, so be aware that what you read online is mostly painted negative for clicks.. Thanks for watching my videos and have no doubt that I wont spread lies or misinformation about a place just for clicks, is not my style
