In this video, Dubspot Instructor and multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer, Mark de-Clive Lowe takes us into the art of sampling and demonstrates how to apply different sampling techniques to modern electronic music. Mark shares some iconic breaks and talks about how they can be manipulated to work in hip hop music. Using his own method for sampling, Mark de-Clive Lowe builds a track from scratch using different chopped up breaks during a live performance and shares some helpful sampling composition and mixing tips.

jay2392 the intro song was also from my workshop - flipping the freddie hubbard 'little sunflower' break made famous by j dilla and pepe bradock
