@DeeJayEndo - Thank you so much for this video I feel like this method of organizing iTunes will save people time down the road. I have started using smart playlist but have run into a snag and looking for suggestions. I have a playlist for a general vibe that im going for, one playlist is where I dump all my tunes into and I have genre smart playlists feeding from there. I often have 1-3 genres in the genre field, ex. house, bass house, tech house. How can I set up the smart playlist edit field so that house tracks stay in, but tech house, bass house, disco house etc are removed. But if there are tracks with house, bass house, tech house all in the same genre field that it won't get ride of the track because its lumped in with the other genres with the word house in it. Long winded im sorry! ive tried a bunch of edit rule combinations with no luck. The only thing I can come up with is to rename all genres ex: House, BH - Bass House, TH - Tech House, DH - Deep House to avoid this issue
Just landed on this 10 year old video ... After manuy years of hesitating, I just bought Bitwig, and just realized it can open multiple files at once - something Ableton still can't do, and one of the things I 'don't like' (to put it mildly) about Live. It already makes me fool good about the purchase 🤟 We all have to pat ourselves on the shoulder and tell ourselves we did spend the money wisely 😄😄
I call a bit of cap. He likely used the Humpty dance (which already has the sing a simple song sample) and added the funky drummer. You can hear the bass note from Parliament's 'Let's play house' in it, when listening to the real song. Still Legendary tho!
Thank you so much for this in-depth tutorial! As an absolute beginner this helps me so much getting into this topic while learning how to use the newer animoog z. So stoked rn🙌🏻🫶🏻
Tunde Adebimpe is such an incredible lyricist. Exceptional. What he does with words - pure poetry. I only discovered TV On The Radio recently and I found myself gasping at the lyrics. To be able to imbue music with that... it's pretty rare.
08:00 Hi guy, I don't have the first blue line that permit to select the first one half bar and the second half bar, I can add only notes. I don't know how to move on the other bar of the clip
