That was 2 years ago when I started watching you and now the bike is my main form of transport and I've a few cool trips on my cbr600f under my belt. It's a 2002 reg so pretty old but I love it. I like the exhaust. It covers up the swingarm a bit and differentiates it from the 1299. I wish they'd bring out some different colours though, probably wouldn't be too popular but I'd love the old 916/748 yellow/white scheme.

I'm not a fan of the exhausts although that grill shot does look good! But why should I care when I won't be able to afford one anyway haha. Still a great looking bike!

PLEASE get a 1098 to compare back-to-back with the 959. I'm currently considering trading up for the added safety of the 959 (for my wife), but I love my 1098. It's the last zero assist superbike Ducati made. Need to know if I'm just holding onto nostalgia when we could be riding a much better overall bike.

Test rode the 899 last summer... itching to get on one of these this summer.. and to be honest 0I actually like the look of the akra exhaust :S

I see some sort of valve in the exhaust, just where the pipe exits the fairings. 5:30 for example Baron take it for a photo session just like with R1M.

Hi fumble how do you fancy doing a review of a multistrada dvt with full akropovic,quick shifter, power commander,race filter, against the standard bike or bmw Xr. I'm waiting for the rest of the system from akropovic for my bike and set up and bring it on

In my opinion, the 959 is suffering from the same criticisms as the 999. It's coming after such an iconic and good looking motorcycle that any changes whatsoever are going to be criticised and torn to shreds. However, the 999 now (again in my opinion) looks amazing and I'd own one in a heartbeat if I had to ditch my 996. It's like going on stage after The Rolling Stones.. HUGE act to follow but they've had the balls to try anyway and whilst initially I wasn't a fan of the new exhaust.. It's already growing on me and, as Fagan said, with the two sided swingarm, all it covers up is shit you don't want to see anyway..

That exhaust is absolutely atrocious, I have an 899 Panigale (which is a work of art) and there just no way in hell I would upgrade to this. These euro regulations are just plain stupid. There is a reason why in every pre-sales advertisement Ducati showed only left side shots of this bike, even they think it's ugly.

"BARE GRILLS" There's a shop near me that sells grills for teeth, with gold, diamonds and stuff. They call is "GRILLS 4 U", I always thought they were missing a trick not using BARE GRILLS.

With electronic auto bliping do you think slipper clutches are going to be old tech in 2 years?

i enjoy the vid Baron but it is a bit to blurry and shaky. there is a certain vlogger from the states that records in 4k and after getting used to watching his material everybody else's just seem down a notch.

the back of the bike is really nice but the rear pillion pegs let it down i think and i deffinatly prefer the underslung exhaust 👍👍

Few things. Shame about the off white engine/clutchbox cover. Shame about the fact that the plate has to be past the rear tyre. (silly UK rules) Pipes look good quad would look amazing, stubby or cut off would be sublime. Great video!

Had a 969, have a Multi 1200s. Thought about trading in the Multi for this - but after a test drive, I left thinking what the hell just happened. The 959 Panigale is SLOWER than my 969, it does not want to turn in, it does not want to lean, it has no torque and the ergonomics are just horrid beyond horrid. The Multi will clean it's clock in EVERY respect, and that's saying a lot for a bike that is twice as tall and 100lb heavier. At 15K, this is one horrid little bike. Given that fact that it does not even have a single swing arm, I regret the day I sold my 969.

Honestly, the only thing i disliked about the styling of the 899/1199/1299 was the underslung exhaust. Part of the beauty of a bike, is seeing the whole exhaust, yet a majority of it remained hidden... with the exception of the endcan (which to be honest, looked like a prettied-up catalytic coverter). The new 959 stock cans dont look great, but these akra-cans look the tits

The bike is beautiful and based on all the reviews and stats etc, its a great bike!... Just change the pipes if you don't like them and stop moaning! Unless in your heart you know you couldn't actually afford one and you're just calling "sour grapes" to get attention! Silly.
