I have the Streetfighter V4S and love the high rev power band... crazy strong motor. I tested the Multistrada V4 and was underwhelmed by the V4 motor they put in it.... especially when compared to the Streetfighter V4. This new RS with the 13,500 red line gives me hope. Looks like they might have put the Streetfighter V4 motor in a Multistrada which if that is the case, I'm buying one. Please be less than $40k USD.
Same. Have a 13’ Multi S with Stylemas and forged wheels and a 20’ SFV4S. Pikes peak V4 left me wanting a higher rev limit, and the regular MS V4 left me wanting a 17” front. The decision to ship the RS with a dry clutch is questionable. The maintenance for it will make the RS unusable for sport touring. This thing looks more like a bike for bumpy backroad twisties, but at nearly $40k, it would make little sense to part with the bikes I already own.
I had a MS V4S & the V4 motor is two different engine designs between Panigale (Desmo Stradale & Multi (Gran Turismo), so that would also make it feel underwhelming as it's definitely tuned differently, not as aggressive. I personally loved my MS but missed the TQ coming from a 2021 Diavel 1260s

Do you consider the V4 RS? I have the 4VS one of the first ones 05/2021, was gona buy the PP but the dealer told me to wait for the RS, so I did. What are your toughts?

Great Limited Edition bike. Can we now please have a worldly 17" single-sided swingarm Multistrada? Please? Something to sit below the Pikes Peak, in the 20k to 25k euro envelope. Many, many of us never smell gravel and feel that the 19" V4 did betray the Multistrada´s origin. Please forget making a bike to beat the GS, be true to yourselves DUCATI, just like you did back in 2003. BMW = rational and efficient. DUCATI = emotional and aspirational. Multistrada 19" = BMW GS.
I think the difference is that this uses the same engine as the panigale and streetfighter while the “pikes peak” shared the same engine with diavel v4 so I believe the service intervals will be longer in the “pikes peak” than in this bike…. Cool bike tho

Yep and still no steering stabilizer stock, no tire pressure monitoring, no electronic gas cap, no Rally sized gas tank for this EVEN MORE thirsty engine, and it comes with ALL of the problems that the Multistrada V4S/Pikes Peak has been having.
Ducati are without doubt are fantastic, however yet again it’s another dressed up base platform motorcycle with added wow factor parts. Please Ducati give us something new ☘️👍
Would love to see Ducati’s answer to bikes like the Kawasaki ZX-4RR and the Aprilia RS 457… Or simply bring back a modern version of the twin 618 cafe racer… 🤔
@@awesomeerr8765 I don’t know where you live, but around here, new riders are clearing inventory on these type of machines, and experienced riders are modifying them as track bikes, while others are racing them. If one were to go down on one of these, it is significantly much less in cost to get back up and running. Simple economics, and still tons of fun. Plus, they are Halo bikes. Zx636 or ZX6 for this who started on the ZX-4RR, and the Aprilia RS660 for those who started on the RS457, Honda has the CBR 300 to lead into the CBR 500 and 600, and Yamaha has the R125 and R3 to lead into the R7 and R6… DUCATI has no Halo bike. However, they can still maintain their prestige if they created a competitive bike to the ZX-4RR and RS457. Those two are not your average small displacement bikes, just look what they come with and you can tell… 🤔

I assume that it is pure coincidence, but when the Pikes Peak was announced, I made a comment that I would like to see the same bike but with the Desmo engine, for those of us who are not going to use it for long distance trips and don't mind the shorter service intervals....and here we are.... I certainly don't want to claim that this was in any way, shape or form my "brainchild" but it would be nice to imagine such...

Estaría muy bien que Ducati fabricara algún scooter y maxiscooter para el día a día o para aquellos moteros que se hacen viejos y empiezan a gustarles los scooters y las motos automáticas, como el cambio dct de Honda.
