This clip shows how to reset the "Oil Change Required" message that remains after service on a 2012 Dodge Charger.
In a nutshell:
- Press the Keyless Start to 'Run' (but don't start the car).
- Pump the gas pedal 3 times within 10 seconds.
- Press the Keyless Start back to 'Off'.
- Done!

Got oil changed low oil pressure. Some oil leaked down under. They didn't know how to reset oil .I did it at home,the pressure went up (who wa) wonder if that CAUSED oil cooler to fail,not resetting oil.

Hey, thanks for watching. The Dart service manual says to wait for the dashboard indicator, but to never let the oil change interval exceed 16,000km. The message appears based on a bunch of criteria, so it can fluctuate. If in doubt, get it changed. The worst that'll happen is you'll spend the money a few hundred km too early. Beats spoiling an engine!

Is there any way to display the error codes when you got check engine?.. Before 2011 you can do the key jugle?

I bought my Dart brand new in april and have over 9000km on the original oil and have yet to have the oil notification pop up. Should i just go ahead and replace it now and do the reset or just wait till it comes up on it's own?

Anyone know how to find out what exactly the issue is when you get the "check engine" light? Currently have it on my 2012 Dodge Charger SE.

Faulty o2 sensor it's common with the 11-14 chargers, the check engine light will eventually go out and come back on every now and then, nothing serious though!
