With this new upload of the Dudley Moore Trio, I would like to make a special tribute to my good friend and colleague Pete Morgan who recently passed away on 26th May 2017. We spent many years touring and working together, he was always a joy to play with and of course a member of the Roy Budd Trio. He had a big sound, perfect time and great musicianship. He will always be remembered. R.I.P. Pete. Chris Karan.

Pete Morgan was a worthy successor to the late Pete McGurk who had graced the trio in the 1960s.

So sorry to hear of Pete’s passing, I met him and his wife Jean whilst working at a pub in Bushey. He asked me to paint their house Just down the road from the pub as I had just completed my painting apprenticeship at the time. What a lovely man and always had time for everyone and I had the opportunity to spend some time with them at the time. Always remember them RIP Pete...Tony Joyce
