This is actually a good value. The Mat alone is $15-$20 bucks. Konami needs to do an official version for $30 and have it be all theme specific (i.e. fire king mat, deck, sleeves, etc.). You can even add a small booklet that guides you on combos and how to play the deck
Playmats are like 15$, card case 5$, sleeves 5$ for one pack as well. Already 25$ in guaranteed value in there, and then you have a whole deck of cards for 5$. Actual good value here for once, especially with reprints like Infinite Impernanence
It's actually really nice that they include a proper rubber playmat with the set, rather than yet another one of the shitty paper ones. That alone is a good value imo, along with all the other accessories you get, which are actually useful stuff.
I like the paper ones cause its super nostalgic. I have nice mats but my brother and I still use the shitty paper mats cause thats how we played as kids 😭😭. I just wanna go back to the good old days man…
I think Alec and Alex did that years back, same idea at least. Nimble Beaver was used a LOT lol, a tournament would be fun though. If only to see Trell try to dominate in it
Actual good deal. Imagine if we got 3 structure decks, a binder, a pack of sleeves, a deckbox and one mat. I wouldn't be mad if we got that instead of the tactical-try decks.
I appreciate you guys putting the cards' effect on the screen when you play them. I've never played either of those decks, and I enjoy reading the cards' effects before a bunch of stuff happens lol.
I bought several of these a while back at my Walmart they were $25 plus some change here in SoCal. I thought for what you got it was decent value, especially maybe for a beginner to get something to get a taste of the game and get some accessories along with it. Overall not the most amazing product, but for a repackage its crazy the value isnt bad.
This was a cool duel and product wise is arguably the best thing for newcomers or returning players for value. The only way I would improve it is if possible add like two or three packs from the rarity collection box for giving an opportunity for more staple cards in case the structure deck in question doesn’t offer much.
I love these kinds of videos! Sealed deck duels are some of my favorite experiences playing Yu-Gi-Oh!... Plus music from MegaMan Battle network makes this even better!
I gotta shout out the use of the Megaman battle network sound track! Yeah these doesn't look like a bad deal for those who are starting out in the game
I bought 3 of the Cyber Strike deck when it dropped, even though I don't really play Yugioh anymore. I bought them just because I've loved CyDra since I first watched GX.
I have no idea how I got to your video's but I've been subscribed now for about a year from a small town in Europe, I have no interest in Yu-gi-oh it seems like an unfun game to me. but I always love your video's I love the charm you guys bring to these video's and make it fun. Keep up the good work!
I think those Monster Box Battle Edition are kinda cool for beginners. Because all that together is more of the price versus buying them separately. A new beginner will have a Play Mat, Deck Box, Card Sleevs, Duelist portfolio, and a Structure Deck. Maybe random but at least something 😅
In game 1, you forgot to resummon blue sky during your next standby after purple banished it. You filled your board but wouldn't have had enough spaces if blue returned. Might have changed things
Glad I found your videos, definitely bringing some nostalgia from I played when it first dropped. For me playing yu-gi-oh master duelist on steam. Thanks for the fun and memories,
I played a few games with my brother were we played with the old vanilla monsters but with modern spells and traps and fusion upgrades. The idea being what if fusion cards had been good way back when. to make use of the weaker low-level monsters
1:35 What I found interesting is that I bought one of the cubes a few months ago, just to open some random packs, and half the common cards were the majority of that structure deck. I'm guessing it just didn't sell very well if you keep encountering it, too.
I mean its cool that this is a way to get an older mat and sleeves and other accessories but i wish for how much these are and how big the box is that there would be more cards than just 1 structure deck.
I want one of these battle boxes. I shall look around for one. I dont own a yugioh card but like many others played all the games and watch your channel. I always say this to the channels i love. Much love from Birkenhead in england
I'm not sure what the decks are like value-wise as I'm an MTG player, but $30 for a playmat, a binder, and 50 sleeves sounds on par, let alone a preconstructed deck on top!
The one i bought had a Albaz/Eclesia binder, matching sleeves, a Magikuriboh box, and the RDA structure deck. Although i already bought three of them previously.
This would be great if it were all themed around the structure deck you get, instead of being completely random. Still, for a new player just starting out, you can't beat this deal
The Truth I think this The First Mystery Power thing of Walmart that is Not Only Worth Buying, But also i Myself is Actually Interested in. I Truly Hope they Keep it up with this kind of Product when it comes to the Mystery Power Whatever's, but The Down Side is that Based On What I Personally See it looks like the Magic Kuriboh is the Only Portfolio Or At The Very Leas the Most Common. As Cyberknight also Got a Magic Kurioh as the Portfolio.
I've always found that the big box stores such as Walmart are not trustworthy for buying trading cards. But then again, I'm a magic gathering player, and I believe in supporting your local card store.
Having picked up each of those things separately at your local card shop, $30 is actually pretty good for all of that even if you get a bad structure deck.
I saw one of these at my local Walmart but i was scared to buy it cause it didnt have the price listed and i couldnt find it on their website to do a price check. I miss when they had the price scanners in store
I have greatly enjoyed that cyber dragon structure deck, I got three and made my favorite deck to play, where I (somewhat) consistently power bond Cyberdark End Dragon in one turn to make a 10,000 *ATK* point, nigh unstoppable machine *GOD*. It's awesome and only someone like me would make up a crazy combo to do it. Cyber Pharos is literally vital to be searched by Cybernetic Horizon if I don't already have it. XD it's so bad that it's good. Also, love the Megaman Battle Network OST in the background, those games are cool and I loved the show as a kid. I typed all of this high🌿🔥.
honestly something like this would be great for me whos just starting out on my physical card collection. i dont even have a deck box. just all my cards in a white 500 box
I enjoy the elemental heroes but that mat is horrendous 😂 Edit: also, more dungeon dice monsters please. It’s part of the “yugi verse” so it would be cool to see you all get into that as well. Truly enjoy the channel
If you guys are open to ideas, i looked through your channel for any video involving the albaz strike structure deck and couldnt find anything. Maybe you could do another structure deck duel using albaz strike and one of its contemporaries..?
as someone who is fairly new to TCG's, Yu-Gi-Oh is one of those games I badly want to get into? so bad, that I may just pick up a structure deck in a few weeks and just say... screw it with my bad vision and find a way to play the game.
@@KresnikSithos The problem with my vision is a simple magnifying glass won't resolve the issue. I would have to wear my reading glasses and then maybe the magnifying glass would work. I've even considered getting a clip on magnifying glass for my glasses. since, my left eye is basically the best for seeing in the other one is like looking through cobwebs
@@KresnikSithos update, I found a deck manager app that I could use. so, I might just get myself a deck after all. now I need is to find a casual group in my area
I’d recommend picking up three copies a structure deck, as they include decently competitive cards, they just don’t have consistency with most archetype staples at one of. Also the the game Yugioh Master duel might also have some accessibility options/ playing on a larger screen that might help out with vision if the physical tcg proves too problematic.
@@phantomkrieger2744 there is a little magnifier I was looking at and I found a better magnifier app. so that's not really an issue. as for buying three copies of the same structure that, I as a new player would not know which cards to replace or etc.
I love cyberdarks lmao it may not be that good but god I love the theme I have a fully built cyberdark with the cards to go full reg cyberdragons on the side.
