Thank you Toitu, it was so lovely to see their life’s story on screen, it was a touching tribute. Mary and William are my Great-great Grandparents. Their 3rd child, Elizabeth Marshall Duff, my Great Grandmother, married James Strain who arrived on the Ajax.

The Maryhill cottage is on private land near the western shore of Lake Waihola. We are lucky that they did live so long as their story was passed on to diffferent generations, and we have the wonderful photographs of them in later life. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
