The emergence of Winslow during the tournament was a major factor in Duke winning the championship. He under achieved most of the year. Coach K did a good job of getting this team to peak at the right time

I am from Michigan, 48 years old, (born and raised). My favorite NCAA football team since I was 10 is Alabama/ My favorite NCAA B-Ball team is my dads home state of N.Carolina=Tar Heels !!!! But I have to say this to all BADGERS...........................You are the most fundamentaly sound football and basketball programs I have ever seen !!! Great Job!!!
Wisconsin was so focused on beating Kentucky that year after they had lost to them in last years final four. When they finally did in the final four of this season, I think they achieved everything they set out to do. Problem was, they had to contend with a very talented Duke squad in the championship. In the end, the big shots that were going in throughout their tournament run were not falling at the end of this game. I think they just ran out of gas, emotionally and physically. They had to go through one of, if not the most difficult stretch of tournament games to win that year. Oregon, North Carolina, Arizona, an undefeated Kentucky team then Duke. Nevertheless, it was a fun team to watch and one helluva run. Go Badgers!
I’m not sure there’s another team in the nation that would have made it through Oregon, UNC, Arizona and Kentucky that year. And that includes this Duke team

No on the getting old and what makes this even more timeless is that in the end they were more than into synch with one another in all facets including team defensive chemistry! As we've seen in the last four tournaments those teams lacked that true chemistry and being on the same page which is why 2015 was a season ending success and the last four weren't
Unfortunately, this final four is always one I'll remember most for its laughably incompetent officiating. I don't think there was bias against any team, it was just bad all around. In the Wisconsin-Kentucky game, Trey Lyles got away with smacking Josh Gasser in the face, then the officials missed an easy shot clock violation call on Wisconsin later. In this game, Justise Winslow stepped out of bounds with the ball, then came back in to score a basket, no call. Even the officials responsible for the foul-plagued mess that was the Gonzaga- North Carolina championship game last tournament did a better job than these clowns.

The bottom line was guard play, A+ for Duke, C- for Wisco. The guards scored and fed the ball nicely to their bigs. Also, kaminsky vs. okafor was good but would've loved to see towns vs. okafor for the title. It would have been almost like a heavyweight boxing matchup, kaminsky too weak on the inside.
Good job duke ur the better team. I am a huge wisconsin fan and I have to say I'm not gonna be a sorelooser about this. We had the lead by 9 points with 12 min to go. So all the complainers out there please just be quit. U say the refs blew the game but did u forget about the 9 point lead? So just stop moaning and bitching about it. We lost live with it. We always have next year. And one more thing wisco fans this will be a season never to forget. #ONWISCONSIN
Wisconsin had the best player in the country Frank Raminsky.I wanted Duke to lose so bad that ended up beating themselves and were drained.Wisconsin beat alot of contenders in that 2015 tournament and were number 1 on the AP top 25 poll.It was disappointing Wisconsin could not pull it off.I hate Duke,North Carolina, and Kentucky blue bloods are my pet peeve.Connecticut and Kansas are blue bloods too but I like them and I root for them in the tournament.

13 fouls called on Wisconsin in the second half, on a team that averages 11 a game. The refs in this tourney were some of the worst in the history of the tourney. Would've been a better game if they didn't call it so one sided.

Barbarian_King Yeah, it does. Fouls affect possessions and free throws shot, which directly translate to points. Are you oblivious to that? I didn't say Wisconsin would have necessarily won, but anyone who watched the game would agree that the refs were awful.
