All those peppers can be chopped up and put in a ziploc bag and put in the freezer until you need some. You saved so much money at both. Plus icing on the cake you found that mop.

My daughter takes fresh green beans and those small potatoes and small. Carrots and rubs a cookie sheet with olive oil, cuts the veggies up puts rosemary and other spices then baked them till they ate soft, they taste so good. You can put any veggies and some fruits in the freezer.

When you see peppers the ones you keep you can cut them up and freeze them. Take the beens and blanch them and you can freeze them.

The roast is fine, take it and throw it in the crockpot with some veggies yummy

when you see brown or green on roasts/steaks that means they are aged. They will usually grind that up to make ground beef. It's good. My husband cuts meat for a living. Still do the smell test

Fantastic haul,,,,,wow,,,saved from the dump…..animals grown and the meat in the trash,,,,,,not good to wast an animals life,,,,enjoy the meat,,,usually in these very cold temps,,meats fair well,,,veggies not so much,,,

If that roast smells OK if it doesn’t smell sour you could cook that down for the dogs and even make a gravy and give it to the dogs over dry dog food it will last in the refrigerator six or seven days after you cook it and then that way it doesn’t go to waste and you’re not eating it if you were scared of it but if it smells good just to be on the safe side you could always give it to the dogs now if it smells sour get rid of it

Do the smell test on the roast if it smells okay when you get home and you're going to cook get you wash it off like you know with water put it in a Crock-Pot or in a pan with some potatoes carrots celery and onions and let it cook little garlic powder little onion powder season or whatever you use and you got a meal

I'm in Texas and on Thanksgiving I checked the prices on the pecan pies here at HEB they were $18

Take that roast, it's still good. I so enjoy watching all the food and stuff you get out of those dumpsters. I would never have to buy groceries.

I hope other divers come behind you because you leave a lot of good stuff behind that can be donated to hungry people. It's really sad to see all that good food go to the landfill when there are people out here struggling. You probably do leave it for others, you probably don't have room for all of it. Freaking frugal need to hit that dumpster, but they are in a different state. Frugal daddy doesn't stop until he have the whole dumpster in his vehicle. 😆. Great haul! 🤩I bought a 10 pack of durable IKEA bags and always take them with me. I was going to take tonight off, but I think I’ll have to go. It’s such a great feeling to get food for free, but a better feeling to help out others.
